Very Cool! I've seen old German uprights that tried to achieve this by connecting the action levers to the keys with flanges and centre pins. that worked quite well but this is genius!

This action is an upgrade from the Del Fendrich action. I've tried it. You can retro fit any upright 48in and over. It's hard to retrofit an old upright by using the actual action if the wood is too dry but you can do it on a Yamaha U1 that is 40 years old for example. If you have an old upright, they will provide you a new action that will fit you piano just like you can buy an Wessell, Nickel and Gross action for any piano. Basically, it you don't have the room for a Grand but need the repetition you don't have that many option. There's the Millenium III composite action of Kawai, the action with magnet of Seiler, the WNG action and that's pretty much it for all I know. But none comes close to the Esmond-White action in terms of repetition.

At min.4:42 Steinway also adopts the same system for the left pedal (soft sound pedal)

This new action looks/sounds amazing! Will this be available in Europe as well?

Why would you use a hex headed screw? I don’t normally carry an 8” hex wrench with me.
