We can definitely welcome everyone with the best willingness for sure. But we can definitely welcome everyone with the best thi-survice. Thank you for visiting Thailand.
I did this almost on the last week of my 2 months in Thailand...and I was awe-ed by its grandeur and beauty! I think I was there on the day you shot this too :) The emerald buddha was so mesmerizing and each piece there is a wonder for sure. The info on all the places he was there bfore is very interesting - I would want to go check it all out in my next trip! Thanks for the info about those statues...I did wonder where all these grand fellas came from n what they were doing there! am Enlighted now :D And yes I was lost in the murals in the wall!! Oh you didn't cover the part about the free show they take you to from the palace in that shuttle bus at the Sala chal emrkrung royal theatre the theatre and the show was amazing I had goose bumps all over and was grinning ear to ear with happiness ( the artist in me wanted to join them on stage) when I got out of there the experience was amazing -not to be missed! Thanks for covering the biggest tourist attraction in Thailand- keep doing amazing videos -cheers n stay safe!
Hi babe ,the grand palace awesome place i love it every time i return to Thailand on the first day in morning i Always visit Emerald Buddha 🙏🙏🙏as i done from 2013 ,,,(more than 10 times)
Thank you for filming the main place of Thai art and craft , many tourists don't go there due to the pricy entrance fee , yeah , Wat Pho is the second destination , anyway Thai people always think the grand palace is the most ultimate tourist attraction have to visit once in a lifetime..
I am Thai and have had the opportunity to travel there 3 times. But I never knew that there was a museum that holds ancient cannons with amazing scales. Thank you for watching the good clip that you recommend.
Very good video and the picture quality is excellent. It should also be noted that you can rent long pants just inside the Grand Palace if you don't want to wear long pants all day. I've done it before and it's easy to do but they are kind of uncomfortable to wear as they go on over your shorts so it's kind of hot. Oh, and for Thai citizens it's free to enter the Grand Palace.
Awesome, thanks Jeroen for sharing the journey and the visit to the Grand Palace in BKK. He will eventually give us the update on the new Thai parliament building being built on the Chao Phraya river. Take care of yourself.👍🤟🎄
Another great VIDEO! I have been to grand palace a number of times, but have never seen as many laces that you have presented in this video. I, surely, have to go back next time I am back in beautiful Thailand. Thans for your very informative video.
Nice one, thanks! I guess the last time I tried to visit the GP, it was closed (really!) and I can't remember exactly why. They were just starting work on that underpass at the time. On another trip, I recall repeated announcements on the river boat stating that, despite what anyone says, the GP is open! So, you mentioning that made me laugh. I wonder why people do that? One other thing - if you forget to wear long pants, or just don't have them, there are vendors around the GP that will rent you long pants for your visit. You can see some of those who probably rented them - they are the ones wearing what look like pajama bottoms.
On my first trip to Thailand in 2003 I got caught up in the infamous "we're closed today but we can offer you great deals on gems at our friend's shop" scam there. I took a meter taxi out there and was met with the "we're closed" tout in the entryway. I ignored him and went on to the pay box where a policeman told me the same. I left to run the tuk tuk gauntlet on the way out, all offering me great prices on valuable gems. I told them to f*ck off and WALKED back to Sukhumvit. The walk wasn't so bad as I ended up discovering some cool neighborhoods including that wat on the hilltop and an entire street of shops selling custom wood carvings. I haven't been back to the palace since.
Thank you for the video and information provided. We haven’t been to Bangkok for years and are planning to visit with our young daughter. Sorry about the silly question but do they have cafes or drinking fountains in the grand palace?
I heard a UA-camr express disappointment with the grand palace. He stated that the ticket cost 500 baht, which is the most costly entrance fee compared to other tourist sites. When he got inside, he discovered that many of the buildings had not been made public. Most areas are off-limits to visitors. Buildings are only visible to tourists from the outside.
Yes, the maintenance costs are very high due to heavily touristy visits and it is called royal grand palace since it still belongs to the royal family which inner part is prohibited for sightseeing Tourists are not freely roaming around even palaces in the U.K., India or Bhutan
I visited the Grand Palace 4 times between 2005 and 2011. Entrance was 150 baht back than. The throne halls at the left and right side of the palace were only opened 1 out of the 4 visits. Maybe it was a special day.
Some said it too expensive compare to a dollars it only 13-14 dollars one meal you eating in your country may be higher than this how much it cost in London or Paris to enter the Palaces is it cheaper than this?

Sites like these were nice and calm before the summer of 2022.
Bangkok is in November already packed with tourists again, even with China closed.
I'm glad I visited the Grand Palace in April, it was pleasantly empty

There is a cafe at the Grand Palace. Its at the end of the tour.
@@globaltravelmate Thank you :)
Sir, could you kindly tell us about your shooting gadgets as I see that your videos clearity is very much satisfied. Thanks.
I use my Samsung S22 Phone and a DJI Gimbal
👍 Nice. Keep it up. Thanks.
Thecpalace actually is closed now for APEC 2022. Only till 19 November.
Best Thai arts are in the grand royal palace
Thank you for talking about those Chinese statues. I've been wondering for a while.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
As a tourist I am sure I had visited the Grand Palace on three different occasions. I think there is a camera fee.
Last time I was there (2011) entrance was 150 baht...
2011 I bought a gallon of milk in the US for $1.49 now it's $6.99. So, what do you expect?
2011 I bought a liter of milk in the Netherlands for €0.70 now it's €1.00. So, what can I expect?
Apparently, according to my neice, she walked around the whole Palace today, only to find out that the Palace was closed for APEC.
Yes, right when I was telling everybody it is open all the time. They closed for APEC. Luckily APEC is not that often :-)
👍👍👍
Most important thing of the whole video,” nice toilet” in the passage way. Often critical info
Haha, yes. I visited the underpass before and the toilets looked great. hahaha

Hi Jeroen. What day and time is the least crowded to visit the Grand Palace? Would like to see this place but it is always crowded hehe
Guess early morning on monday would be your best bet.
