I have this palette and absolutely love the formula. For me, I had no issues with pigment. It layers beautifully and gave me a beautiful look without having to keep going in so perhaps it depends on the brush being used. I used my Sonia G brushes and so that may be a factor in the way it applies and whether or not you have to keep going in for more depth. I had no issues and was super pleased with the formula. I loved your review as always and the look you created was beautiful!
I bought it and I like it. It's almost like a mini everyday that you can keep in your purse. The colors are kind of sheer as you said but I don't mind that cuz that's kind of the look that I've been into lately. I do have the Wayne Goss and the Mario but I'm a Charlotte fan and I just think it's cute and it has everything in it for a travel palette

Lol. I have been wearing the La Mer Soft Fluid foundation a lot recently. I'm obsessed with the Chanel foundation, but it doesn't look as good as this La Mer does in camera (because it's so skin like) i never understood the hype behind the La Mer foundation, until I bought the RIGHT shade and DANG.. It's SO GOOD🙌🙌💋💋
Oh my gosh ... this is my kind of look ! This palette reminds me of the UD Naked Basics 2 palette which is one of my favourites, I prefer smaller palettes.

Even though I have desert haze, I like that this has the black which I don’t have a black in my collection from CT and the convenience of having 2 looks in one palette is great. Thank you Tara for this great review! I keep seeing the shine on the colors but it said it was a matte palette so I was confused. So glad you explained it! I have The Icon palette which is like a creamy formula but different and love that palette. I think I will be picking this one up because I love this type of look and will get a lot of use out of it. Also, I am so glad she is doing something different! I am hoping for an Iconic Nude line, similar to what she did with Pillowtalk. If she does that, I will be in HEAVEN! Hope you are well!

Thank you for the review. I was really keen on this when i first saw it on her site as i love my Charlotte Darling palette. Then i really looked at the colour story and went digging through my stash and realised that i can repeat the colour story over and over again. Yes, its in a nice new formula and a lovely compact package, but, i also like what i already own and need to use what i already own. I appreciate your comprehensive review, its help clarify my decision to pass on this one, but that means you've done a very good comprehensive review and it looks great on you.

After this review seems I would buy it 😍I had been using Naked basic 2 for many years which finally ended. And I was going to buy new SMALL nude palette - Victoria Beckham Signature eye brick. Thanks for another honest review! I know the shades are similar to Wayne Goss’ palette but which one do you think would work better for crinkley 😢eyelids? I love all matte palettes and rarely wear shimmer.
Thanks again Tara, I liked the look on you, a nice daytime look and for a night you can smoke it out more but wouldn't have a lovely high shimmer on the mobile lid so I think Wayne's is better and I don't have time for all that blending to get color payoff yet want shadows to blend very easily which other brands have. xoxo

Sweet & simple review💕💗💕💗This faintly reminds me of the NARS Skin Deep palette (I use it sparingly bc I adore it so much). I like this palette, it's basic colors & compliments other palettes well enough. Nice travel size. If you don't have this texture or color story, makes sense to buy. But even if you did have the colors, I could understand someone going ahead anyways. They truly are staples

I’m super pale and so I like shades that are buildable rather than too pigmented. Love Charlotte Tilbury products so, SO much! She changed my makeup game. ❤😍

Agree! Wayne Goss eye shadow palette creates the easiest prettiest and classiest looks. I’m still tempted to get the CT though 🤪
I have the Biba palette which has a lot of the cream to powder formula and I don’t love that formula. You created a really pretty look with this palette!

Another great and thorough review. I especially like the comparisons. Although the textures are different the colors remind me of the Viseart Nude Matte Palette. BTW just a minor note: a typo for the word "comparisons" is spelled on your changeover.
Thanks Tara! I bought this and have to play around with it a little bit more, but offhand I’d say that I prefer the formula in Desert Haze, which is incredibly smooth, pigmented and long lasting. This new palette didn’t seem to perform as well - definitely didn’t seem as pigmented. In general I find the quality of her products to be outstanding, however, so hopefully this new powder/cream will live up to expectations as I continue to use it. How does it compare to the Charlotte Darling palette?
I already have Desert Haze. This palette needs so much layering and packing on to get the pay-off and intensity I like, it's an easy pass for me. Thanks for another great review!

I do A LOT of wedding makeup, therefore a lot of my more colorful, bold palettes I use on myself aren’t what I use on my wedding clients...I just so happened to do makeup for a wedding a couple weeks ago where the bridesmaids were wearing maroon and dusty rose, I used my bigger pillow talk palette for those pinks and they blended so BEAUTIFULLY! I’m on a hunt for a high end neutral palette to use on my wedding girls that have a good mix of cool and warm tones... I’m wondering if this is a good palette for that purpose?
@AngelaArman I have both palettes. You can’t go wrong with both. It just depends what you’re looking for. With Wayne’s palette, I have to admit it was one of those palettes that I needed to get to know (I’m used to more pigmented formula). But once I got to learn it it was a breeze to use. There’s a nice selection of cool and warm browns and his palette offers a lot of product plus a celestial shade compared to the CT Easy Eye Matte. I’m also medium-olive and find that I can double down and use his palette as an all in one face palette-there’s a terra-cotta shade I can use for blush and the white satin shade I’ve used as a highlight. I’ve also gotten away with using the brown shade as contour. It’s perfect if you’re a minimalist. The CT palette, it’s more a bronze + cool tone color story. I find I like the blend better (because I’m so used to ND formula and Tara is spot on when she says that it’s like the Metropolis formula). In general it never takes me more than 2 mins to build a look with a CT palette. So if time is more your concern, I’d lean towards CT. I will say if you have the ND Metropolis Palette and the glam palette, you don’t need these because you can dupe the vibe on both of these palettes. Both formulas melt into the skin well as the day progresses and still look beautiful after a long day. Hope this helps.

This was really helpful bc I've been on the fence about this one. I'm assuming that natasha Biba does whatever this palette can do? Charlotte Tilbury is my absolute favorite so I'm tempted by all of her products... but I think my $ would be best spent on another one of her new products.

I’m intrigued by this formula. Since I’ve moved to PA within the last few months, I’ve found my skin is dryer, especially my eye area. So I like that these wouldn’t emphasize the dryness, but I don’t “NEED” this right now lol

I just got my palette yesterday and I thought I got a dud because as soon as I dipped my brush in the pans, the day enhance, day smoke and night smoke, looked so weird like oily/hard pan? I had to watch your video again just to make sure it wasn’t just mine. I think it’s a nice companion palette to the Nordstrom anniversary 6 pan or 6 pan darling palette. I’m still on the fence about returning it.
How would you compare this to the ND Biba palette? Just like a condensed version?
The icon palette has 2 mattes that are very much like ND cream to powder so maybe it’s the same formula as this one. Thanks for the review!!

You're so sweet, thank you so much for all your support🦋❤ Truly means so much💋 Personally, I would say, if you love a creamy matte formula (like the one from Natasha Denona, ) i would pick up this Palette because you get 6 shades for $57, unlike desert Haze, 4 shadows for $53.. But, if you prefer that traditional matte formula. I would for sure buy the Desert Haze Palette💋 (I'm So excited for the new Rose Palette🙌🙌).

I would definitely get the Wayne Goss. You get way more productive and the satin shimmers are beautiful, along with the highlighter type shadows in that palette❤❤❤

Because I've got the Wayne Goss palette, I wasn't going to get this. However, had she made a palette with different shades, I would have been all over it in a flash. The formula really interests me.

Update: I got this palette after watching your video. The soft color payoff was something I enjoyed and I didn’t mind having to build it to intensity. A great one and done on the day co,ors. I didn’t have issues with kick up and I loved the creamy texture. Your eye look was fantastic and totally inspired me to make this purchase. So happy with it! As someone with an olive tone and Wayne Goss, the palettes don’t show up the same on the eye. Also Wayne’s shimmers are a totally different experience. Got both, love both! 😊

I am gonna get it, I know I have these kinda colours but not in Charlotte's formula.

We need Sophora and Ulta here too, I would love to try Thrive cosmetics, Cover Girl and other American brands we can't get here. I feel Sephora would do very well here in Ireland. We can get some through Amazon but the shipping and customs is like paying three times the price.

Tara has a ranking video of all CT eyeshadow. Her top rated is the Charlotte Darling and seems to have very favourable reviews all round. It won't be the traditional pop formula - that glitter shade - but I trust Tara's picks.
Yes, Amber is right. That Palette is my over all fav and perfect starter Palette from CT. (Thank you girlie for commenting and helping, you rock💋💋) If you're wanting something bigger, The pillow talk instant eye Palette is great too🦋❤💋 Hope that helps❤ P.S. with your skin tone being close too mine, you will love those shades. CT has a tendency to create the same shades just different (lol) and I have found those tones in those Palettes work REALLY well with my skin tone💋🦋❤ Hope you love it🙌💋

I wear contacts, but they are clear. I have such a strong colored eyes, if I wear them with even a slight tint. I look RIDICULOUS 🤪 When I wear these types of orange, warm tones it brings out my eyes sooooo much. Thanks for watching my friend 💋💞❤
