True my best cracked pvp practice server with no lag was shutdown because of no profit and no players at all. Like 100 was the max. If i remember correctly.

Also if you watched the vid and have a brain you'd know bridger land wouldn't be very sustainable running on less than 50$ a month
i know this sounds cliche and all but i do have to agree with 100% bedless when he was talking about the pain of hosting a minecraft server. i personally have a small smp. it was meant for my 3 other friends and started as an aternos server. however, the server was way too laggy so i asked my friends if they would be active if i were to get a paid server. they said yes and i bought it for 300 USD annually. then they got bored of it and quit. i didnt want my server to go to waste so i tried getting other friends to join. the problem is that all my friends are 1.8 mains and non of them liked survival. i tried all sorts of advertisements and non of them worked until i found the mc official LFG. i started getting 3 players a day and teh server was more active than ever. the only problem is that only 0.99% of anyone that joins actually stayed. i'm not exagerating. according to my server stats 344 people have joined and only 3 (including me) is still playing. it's been 7 months now and i dont seem to improve anything whatsoever. i wanted to keep trying and try but nothing seem to work. players just never joined again after a day or two. this is the 5th time resetting the server now and nothing is changing. everytime i stop playing for a day or two, the server dies instantly. nothing seems to work and the server gives me more anxiety than joy, so i completely gave up and im now focusing on school work.

@@GalderaVG looks like u dont play mc but they r different. premium players can join any servers but cracked cant join a lot of premium servers like hypixel
@@cyclebin3718 regular mc can join any server and it's not anything special and believe me I do play minecraft. One other thing, cracked can't join REGULAR mc servers for a reason, because it's a piracy version of regular mc it's not anything special either.

@@Itsmaximillianhighdefinition It's the cracked version of bridgerlands, this basically means that its for the people who cant buy minecraft and are playing it using unofficial launchers which allow them to play it for free but comes with the cost of not being able to play on official servers.
As someone who runs a small community around my mmorpg minecraft server, I can say that even thought it takes hours of bug fixing, putting up with toxic or immature players, and having the thought that someone might hack it at anytime, It still so much fun and really has changed my life. It allowed me to express my creativity a lot more and I’ve met so many wonderful people from doing this.

its sad to see the server go away but from my experience I know its hard to maintain a server, ive made a server before by myself for my friends and its hard. I ended up shutting it down.
Sad. I will remember the days I practise bridging and block-clutching. It's good tho that it's up until the end of the year. The server had a lot of unique features, and was very well-refined. With the current things going in your life, I wish you the best in life.

I’ve ran multiple Minecraft network servers. It’s just painful to deal with those network griefers/hackers in general including DDoS attacks. This was back in 2018 but most importantly also not being able to make profits from lack of funds from the community if you don’t get enough players or etc.
Edit: But yes it was fun and nice to meet a bunch of new players and such.
Yeah sadly I also started my own SMP with some people from my school. Eventually it got really popular but then again I don’t have that much money to add so much plugins like anti cheat and stuff like that since I am already paying like 50$ a month to support the server. I really just wanted to have fun but then people were hacking, exploiting, DDosing, and things like that and that caused people to leave and the server was shutdown. I know your pain Bedless.

I went through the pain of making a server for my school, when I paid a company it would crash every 5 minutes then I switched to using MY OWN computer. I didn’t hear a word of thanks and everyone on it was toxic. I feel you.

I 100% know how you feel about this and why you are shutting it down. Because I started a underrated mc server called NavyBridge. Not for money though, it was to make my UA-cam channel a stronger community and Bridgers experience and hang out with friends. For the first 2 months,it was great. But then this is where the conflict rises up on the server. Basically my friend ip grabbed me only for a prank (but it’s a bad prank) I did get slightly nervous but he never released it anyway. But then he started being a stricter staff member and then I felt concerned every time I tried to demote him he would get kinda mad. But that was a month ago we dealed with it we are good friends now. For the past month my server has gotten better and better staff working on the server and lots of updates. BUT then… the console got hacked. It hacked a dev’s server pro acc (the server host im using btw) and then he said to us racist and crazy stuff. They even said me to demote him or else he would continue stopping the server and banning people. He said it was just a troll but it’s 1000% unacceptable no matter what he even made fun of technoblade but we permanently banned him and we had every dev including me change their server or password and now we are just chilling and at some point I wanted to shut down the server because a month ago a lot of staff drama. I did quit for 3 weeks when it happened but now it’s all good. I understand why you shut down the cracked server and I would do the same too if those things ever happened even if staff worked hard they have to know some things just come to a end.

I once tried to open a minigame server but it was expensive and we needed more staff and developpers
Seems like the cracked players(including me) to push ourselves on getting the server upwards, I'm 100% sure we can save it only if we work this out TOGETHER. Ik bedless this ain't Ur fault fr and I truly understand and appreciate u on creating the server. We had a lot of fun and we'd love to see if the server could stand out hopefully 😉
it is not possible to save the server without having to spend money that we dont have on ranks or donations
@@ez1946 ye. I don't think making the cracked server more popular helps a lot.
You could possibly try using a system of ads like most free editions of games. While it sucks, I think the playerbase would be very happy to keep it running. Possibly you could force a texture pack that makes a gui in which you can add ads so when a player logs in they need to watch X ads for Y time.
You could do queues so you have to pay less for hosting and make a monetized queue priority.
I am so sad right now 😢 😞 i hope that one day another one will work out still love your vids and will support no matter what man

I’ve started running my own private server just for friends and that’s quite annoying to do even without the ddoses that you talked about, so it would be way way worse to run such a big public server

The pain and the suffering is a lot,I ran a cracked server for 3 years.
It was honestly a good profitable 3 years.
Most of the players enjoyed survival way more than the other minigames surprisingly, the servers been running for 6 years now.

I'm extremely sad that one of my favorite cracked servers is shutting down, because I'm a cracked player. But if this is what you want to do, then if you need to, then do it. You COULD start something to like, raise donations for the server, because I KNOW some people would want to support the server. But if you can't, then... It's fine. We will miss the server though😔
As a cracked player i really enjoyed to play on your server i was playing it everyday but good things dont stay long
I personally am developing a practice server of mine, and I can relate that it is really difficult to upkeep and pay for upfront costs+ along with all of the effort I need to put into the server as a solo developer.

Is there a way you can make money by like asking people to visit a place with ads once a day so you can earn some money with ads (there will be the ranked system also tho). i mean even tho you might earn less hopefully it might be enough. Hey Bedless, I wanted to say that I have ran a Minecraft network before and I can guarantee money is a huge problem, I ran my network on a VPS and it was very expensive when my server didn't get many players (10-20 average players), the server was quite expensive and I did hire multiple developers alongside me (I am a server developer as well) to make the server better, but in the early stages when I didn't have much advertising or players, money was a huge issue, especially if you are running a cracked network. It's not like they want to spend money on Minecraft, especially a Cracked account, or not get a Premium account at all.
I do agree with this decision but even with this decision, not many people play cracked so it's still less profit and less players, I'm glad you even managed to try to make a successful cracked network with a Java community like that.

It is sad news for the server, i was planning to do some streaming on the cracked server since i dont have an actual minecraft account. But with previous circumstances that you guys have experinced and same goes with me,(the player) that wanted to stream bedwars xD freely, it is understandble that servers are very hard to manage, eslecially when you have 2 on the line. i have try making a mc server before and it costed me more than 300 dollar to hired staff and add stuff into it but when the server started to grown we got more profit but people started to go to other server and only around 4 player left in the server and our profit decreased by 95%

honestly the biggest issue about making a server that you didn't mention is the fact that most of us can't even get players on our servers unless we somehow miraculously partner up with a big youtuber, which is still not a guaranteed success for the server as most people will only join for the youtuber.
and yes, i'm a server owner myself, and minecraft multiplayer is insanely disappointing because people will only play on hypixel or a very limited amount of servers (the most popular ones) because players and content creators won't give other servers a chance.

I am working on my minecraft server for like 7 months, and I had a big minecraft server (well, not that big but 600-800 players) that closed in the past for the same reason why cracked bridger land did, I understand everything, no worries, let's be happy that the prem bridgerland is still running.
Is there anyway we could maybe get more people into the server so we could keep the server, or is it done overall? 🙁

I did try to make a whole Network for a hobby and for my friends cause they didnt have a premium mc account so I just recreated the entire hypixel server in my server like Bedwars, Skywars , Thepit , Duels
and basically my server became being from a hobbie to a public server and I was feeling so stressed out and I was feeling demotivated cause I was like the only person who had experience with plugins
And I was so stressed out cause people blaming on hackers and more so I came to the conclution of shutting down the entire network so I know how u feel bro

I have attempted it (with prior knowledge), and it has gone decently. I've had to stop growth because I've noticed patterns of downfall after a large community of growth with no large content creator to back the server. I make enough to support the servers, and pay some others to work on it.

I actually tried to make my own network but im only 16 so it was quite hard to m keep the sever running and it is quite expensive so it only lasted for a year and is it only the Chinese sever getting shut down?
My last moments on Bridget land (premium) was scroll clicking with my g502 hero and getting 500 cps and then I got banned

If anyone is feeling down about any older bedwars content creators leaving the community, take a deeper look into smaller creators. I have met upwards of 50 small bedwars creators who are all really nice people and make insane content. I myself have been daily uploading for over a month now. If you are looking for any new youtubers to watch: there are plenty out there to find.
