Some years ago fishing drop shot, my line broke while setting a hook. 10 minutes later, my partner caught a fish. Sure enough, my hook, worm and weight were hooked in his fish’s mouth. Some fish are crazy 😂😂

That’s crazy! I’ve done that before with bandito bug. But the fish actually swallowed the bait, and I caught it again and pulled the bait out of its gut, my line broke so the hook never came out of the bait lol. I love big worms I catch so many bass on them. I’ve been told that red shad is a killer worm by zoom. I’m still throwing it. I love the junebug ol monster. 8lb on that worm.

That was my Dads favorite. I have a 100 pack of Black Grape jelly worms 100% original unopened from 1972
Did that several years ago on a Canadian fishing trip. Was looking for a spot to eat lunch and saw a rock pile made a cast and broke my line. Went and ate lunch and came back about 30 minutes later and caught a smallmouth that had my hook and weight in his mouth.

What kind of hook are you using there? I know people have different thoughts on ewg vs. traditional worm hook. Curious what you're using. Good stuff. I like fishing big worm as well.
Its the Owner Offset Wide Gap.....its a heavy traditional offset with a wider gap
Ive done the same thing but it was the next day. Mine was a 5 pounder. Lol

I do some......this particular day was a mix of fan casting on points and targeting specific fish. Only one was caught with FFS
I just don't like them. To me it is cheating.

Not on my big worm...I do on my flippin baits though
