Great video and always stuns me how big Sandstorm is as a song! Many know it, and it has statuses like this one here, probably billions have heard it. Guy who made it, Darude, was a teenager living in Finland in a rural area in the 90's, who did electronic music at his home somewhere in the middle of the woods and made the song all by himself, somehow making it go worldwide
Devin Hall You take a bus from the locker room to the stadium, rub a fuckin rock, and let balloons go like a wedding. It's one of the dumbest unmasculine traditions in all sports. And Clemson fans are some of the most toxic, like you.
Driving halfway across the stadium. Worshipping a rock and giving it a blow job and skipping down a hill like bunnies and letting birthday balloons in the air which is terrible for a agricultural school
SANDSTORM!!!! We Won!! Great day! My father was with me. Tickets from my Son from a friend at Chic- fil - A. Best gift ever. Priceless! Love both teams.
Admittedly, sometimes I do have a hard time being classy when discussing stuff with other fanbases, sometimes even with Carolina fans, but it's something I'm trying to get better at, because stuff like this is just a fun rivalry we have and not life and death. I truly do respect this tradition and passion for your team that you guys have. You guys have a better atmosphere at every game than we do in a lot of games, I think. With not having much of a history until now, that's very impressive.
I'm a Dawg fan-red and black all damn day-but this is the most amazing thing I've seen in a college football stadium! Good gawd...talk about getting fired the hell up! I'd be ready to whoop some ass too if that was the way I was introduced to the field on Saturdays. Gotta give SC their props on this one-seriously.

I lost my voice, nearly passed out, nearly got arrested, and got laid all in that same day! 😂 This was right before social media took over so we did not record everything, but my God this stays in my memory bank forever. Brian, bull and any other Gamecocks making the trip, you should expect to be treated with respect, politeness and courtesy, and have people genuinely interested in your having a great time while in town. Oh, and hey, there was apparently a major problem with our doing Midnight Yell at the State Capital building........we've done that a lot, in various places, including at our own state capital bldg. in Austin, and it kinda shocked all Aggies I know that it was an issue. We've done it right in front of the Alamo.....never thought it would be a problem in SC. Wherever it would work best for 2016, please let us know. There was no offense intended, and I apologize to anyone who was offended.
bull864 bull, I saw the stuff on SECN and ESPN where some SC students and/or fans were there showing their defiance of our selection of Midnight Yell site, and I don't blame them one bit. (It also seemed that our Yell Leaders adapted to it and were fine with allowing any Gamecocks who wanted to share the stage to have their space to express themselves.....and I certainly hope that's the way it went down. Admittedly, all I saw was what was on TV.) If it works for South Carolinians for us to do it there, then fine, but we can do it in probably multiple places.....Wherever we can carry out our tradition in this aspect and not offend anyone is my preference, and that of every Aggie that I personally know. Every fan base has it's jackholes, and we do too, but we feel it's our job to put them in their place. I'm sure that the goodwill of both sides will help us chose another appropriate site, or use the same one in two years, albeit with a clearly communicated sense of respect for The Palmetto State's history, culture and heritage. (On a side note, I'm not a fan of the Bonham Trophy thing. Bonham's a hero in Texas, but it seems to be contrived. We'll develop a rivalry over time, for sure, but this seems forced, and it was apparently our governor who came up with the idea, so......sorry about that one. But hell, it might be meaningful and fun some day, who knows?)
I was there and no comment I could make would do it justice! Only the Alabama game in 2010 or the Ole Miss night game when Ole Miss was ranked # 4 wound have come close. What an atmosphere! By the way Clowney went nuts on the Georgia O-line and game was pretty much over after the first quarter.
If I’m not mistaken there was another factor that led to making this game so hype. Besides that it was a huge game early in the season at a time when we had guys like Clowney flying after the qb, and both teams were top 10. I think they did one of those military surprises. This family was on the field and they video conferenced in the dad who was overseas with the military. He gave a recorded message and the family was all emotional and stuff. Then they said to direct attention to the corner of the end zone and he came walking out. The stadium went nuts. Then it transitioned straight into sandstorm. It was an awesome crescendo to get people hyped. We may have beaten any team in the country that night. Go Gamecocks, forever to thee.
YES! On top of that great moment, college game day was live at the horseshoe leading up to the game. It was the craziest day ever outside of Alabama in 2009! I was there!
I've been to Premier League games, many games and they can be loud. William Bryce Stadium is louder. Entrance is loud, Sandstorm is loud touchdowns are deafening.
I was born in South Carolina and now reside in the 12th man state ( Washington ) but even on their best Sunday nothing can compare when Sandstorm comes on at Brice Stadium.
I am a Steelers fan, and I never thought there would be a greater foootball atmosphere than the Heinz Field crowd on an opponents 3rd down when "Renegade" sounds through the stadium and everybody is fired up. I'm not so sure anymore...
PrisonOfMinD85 Haha you're a funny dude :D We just had the both worst seasons in recent franchise history and if our fans would be "bandwagon fans", we would have seen empty crowds in Heinz Field like in any other stadium with bandwagon fans missing success.
I am a UGA fan and remember when this happened. I knew UGA was in for a long night. Another great atmosphere on youtube is the end of WV vs Miami last play of the game when WV plays Sandman.
Bro, college football is like no other. My first college game I went o a couple yrs ago was the Oregon state ducks and The fans and atmosphere can really get you pumped and excited..
Saw a friend whom was there with friends at this game. The child with them needed to do the Sandstorm. I gave him my towel. Tom Moses/James Inman( Your son) . My father applauded my kindness to a child. Keep it real!

By the way Clowney went nuts on the Georgia O-line and game was pretty much over after the first quarter.
as a Michigan State fan this is crazy
FUCK SPARTY GO BIG BLUE !!!
Make America Great Again no
Y4123 WE WINNING THE BIG TEN THIS YEAR AND WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFF !!
Make America Great Again yeah no
Y4123 Yes.
Go Gamecocks, forever to thee.
ua-cam.com/video/kUkKhRtk8VU/v-deo.html here is the video. Crowd was JACKED after this dude showed up for his family.
YES! On top of that great moment, college game day was live at the horseshoe leading up to the game. It was the craziest day ever outside of Alabama in 2009! I was there!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!
THIS IS WHY I WISH I DID SCHOOL IN AMERICA.
Wish aus had this kind of stuff :(
Daniel Bishop we have all the mass shootings
Do You know the origin of Sandstorm ? See like 150million - Who Didnt know !
I've been to Premier League games, many games and they can be loud. William Bryce Stadium is louder. Entrance is loud, Sandstorm is loud touchdowns are deafening.
Darude Sandstorm is that amazing song from Finland!
I was born in South Carolina and now reside in the 12th man state ( Washington ) but even on their best Sunday nothing can compare when Sandstorm comes on at Brice Stadium.
I’m a UT fan but man this was nice and explosive wow
This is pure gold 🥲
PrisonOfMinD85 *6 Championships..
As in championship I mean super bowls.. so we lead the league in those
gpl yep that was va tech vs Miami. but still an awesome scene
Bro, college football is like no other. My first college game I went o a couple yrs ago was the Oregon state ducks and The fans and atmosphere can really get you pumped and excited..
Gives me the goosebumps.Nobody rocks the house like the Gamecocks!!!
This is the best sandstorm I have ever seen. Hopefully Shane Beamer can get us back to this level of confidence.
I sure hope so!
I get chills from watching it even if I'm a Florida Gator
watching this in 2021 is the craziest thing. miss full capacity stadiums so much
USC announced full stadium capacity for the 2021 football season!!! Go Cocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing like being there. Great experience
Putting a night home South Carolina game on my bucket list.
This is sooo dope!
Saw a friend whom was there with friends at this game. The child with them needed to do the Sandstorm. I gave him my towel. Tom Moses/James Inman( Your son) . My father applauded my kindness to a child. Keep it real!
Now *THATS* a stadium.
My gosh, wish I hadn't had my headphones on!! This just burst my eardrums!!! Wow, never saw anything quite like it.!! Go Gamecocks!
lol the UGA fan at 1:28 looking like he crapped his pants
There is no greater feeling than being at Williams Brice during Sandstorm!!
I love the South Carolina gamecocks!!! I ❤ SC!!! Let's go Gamecocks!!!
