There is an error in either your equation for Y or your process. Your equation for Y states to use Xi but when you did the process you used Xi+1 since you used the most updated X. To find Yo you shouldered used Xo being 1.5.

For Gauss siedel, you use the most recent value of X

@@ovais217 : Correct, and thus to avoid confusion the equation should have been written out as y(i+1) = 57- (3 * x(i+1) * y(i))
