Animals don't care for reason. asking more from this film is pointless, it's a stripped to the bone slasher saying that the ending is padding for time doesn't make sense, when the whole film is taking it's time. honestly the last part of this film redeems it from being disposable trash it seems like the horror fans just bitch about not getting the same when they ask for different new stuff Halloween Ends was awesome except for the crappy tacked on Michael Myers fight/death at the end In a violent nature was stupid when it came to it's violence but people responded better to that than the actual part that took tact and directorial ambition, ala it's divisive reviews dont get me wrong its acting is bad, it's violence too artificial to be effective i don't think being boring is a bad thing as opposed to the constant stimulation of those horrible marvel movies and most action fare nowadays i also give it a 6/10 but would disagree with some of what you said
I totally respect it. I love the concept. A slasher film at its most basic. I can see the perspective of nature abides by no rules. Thus the film ultimately subverts our expectations all the way through. Admittedly the endless walking makes it a hard movie to sit through. But similarly I don’t hate it.
