I thought this would have been some of the music people listened then, but nope. I just kept hearing some lame ones. Sure, they had their place and atmospheric effect, but I didn't think of any of it as music per se. Game music is just that, and what they have on radio or on pop charts is just that. Basic in some sense. Sure, there are gems, but they just follow the path laid out. Then again, maybe it's just their sound that works for my taste, especially.
