Maybe you're infj?..idk Im guessing... I have social anxiety and adhd and Im a hsp (highly sensitive person) but the sign I relate to most is intp...unless they are being insensitive then I can't. My mum is entp and my dad dropped chicken on the ground and she kept making fun of him, it was funny at first but then I wanted to make sure dad wasn't actually hurt by that too badly so I told mum to stop and I had intrusive thoughts about what could happen to him....But I think thats just genuine empathy. Other times, my brother who I think is a fe user..or so, he will express emotions to me and ask me for comfort (he always comforts me but I cant comfort him) and when he does this I get all awkward and just unable to say anything cause I'm paranoid whatever I say will come off as rude. He takes my reaction of apathy as annoyance and then continues to get more emotional and open and that bothers me more. Most infps are supposed to be good listeners and usually feelers are extremely good at coping with emotions, they might find it awkward too but they wouldn't pull the things I do. But I guess its the intrusive thoughts that make me hate comforting others so much, "What If I say something wrong and it makes me want to kill themselves" ect.. Can confirm. The biggest mistake is telling us to do the opposite of what you want. It’s like a legal contract to us, in the sense that you can’t sarcastically agree to one.
ISTPs are just so cool. I see so much of myself in them, probably because we share dominant Ti, but they're just so much more... confident, I guess? Or maybe they're just less uncertain. Either way I definitely envy it. Their way of calmly and succinctly stating their *mostly* well reasoned beliefs (hey, I've got Ne, of course I see flaws in many of their ideas :P) just makes them so easy to chat with, provided you don't bulldoze them with abstract ideas or anything else they think is boring (that last part's true with most people, to be fair, haha). Lol yes, they seem more confident but I always wonder why I don't feel that way even being an ISTP myself? I have so many insecurities that it is very hard to me describe me like "confident". If someone does something annoying, I’ll take note of it the first time and give them the benefit of the doubt. The second time, I’ll say something calmly. The third time, I’m visibly and audibly angry.
