Noseriding is so glorious to watch, but in my humble opinion, not at the cost of working with the wave and what it offers the rider. I see so many opportunities to play in the face of the wave, but it is neglected in order to get five or ten toes over. A prime example of how contest surfing inhibits the beauty of the sport.
I stopped by there several times on trips up and down the coast about twenty years ago. It was packed with Canadian expats and US tourists too. Dirty creek flowing into the break straight from the village on the hill. So many better breaks around to surf.
