@@SHMillinery wow thank you so much for quick reply.....will look that up. I wished I was 50 years younger as I think I now know I want to be when I grow up......a milliner!!!! My mum would have loved that as she was always dabbling making her own hats (Queen Mother Style) Ha Ha! Thanks again.
You can disinfect with any household disinfection or hand sanitiser or a few drops of tea tree oil in water. Then I freeze them for a week to kill any possible bugs
Do the feathers have to be bought from suppliers, or can you use any feathers you may find in your garden or in the countryside? Great video by the way.
yes, this was one of my early videos, I have learnt a lot since then! Hopefully you will find my other videos better. My intention is to redo many of the early ones. I really appreciate your comments

You can use found feathers. I recommend putting in a bag in the freezer for a week to kill any mites. I also then wash them in disinfectant. :)
I would like to know how to curl a spin, could you please advise😘thanks
I use a steam iron for flat curls, I hope this helps
Use baby bottle sterilising fluid... Less corrosive on the feather
thank you for your suggestion
So, can we use a glass cutter to cut feathers? It looks like a glass cutter
No to a glass cutter! I use a fabric rotary cutter or scissors
