I listen to a TON of lofi while studying for board exams. It's really hard to find the perfect blend of upbeat without being a distraction, but also not putting me to sleep. This is seriously the best mix I've found so far. Thank you!!
from one guitarist to another, there are a couple GREAT guitar pedals that will give you a very nice lofi sound. specifically for lofi you can get "instant" pedals like the following - zvexs, instant lofi junkie - chase bliss, generation loss - TC electronic flashback V2 (great variety of delays and a looper) - roland space echo (yeah its an echo, but being able to change the tape heads gives a very wobbly lofi sound - caroline, kilobyte but in reality you can find a lot of cheap delay pedals that can be used for the same thing, set the blend/mix/wet:dry knob to max, feedback and delay to minimum and then the rate/depth to taste
