I feel the steel guitar is becoming a lost art. Thank you for keeping it alive David. You are the best I've heard and I grew up on Country music from the 50's on up. Thank you for sharing your talent. Keep up the good work.
Hello Dave....I just love your music....really awesome.....I play it a lot...thanks for sharing your talent with all of us.....here's to wishing you & yours a very happy year 2015....
I just love the sound of a steel guitar, so soothing. I've not heard you music for a while Dave as I have not been on YT for a while, so its great to rediscover your videos. Thankds for the share.Regards David (Formerly dagenhamdaveNo1)
Fabulous! What other instrument (or device of any kind) requires the skilful use of six body parts...two feet, two knees and two hands, all of which are doing something different. Amazing.
Absolutely beautiful ! Dave, are you familar with Sylvester Weaver? He did Guitar Rag in the 1920 's which eventually morphed into Steel Guitar Rag. Great sound considering the primative equipment available then. It can be found on UA-cam. Al
Very nice. Just checked out Justice web site. Looks like a decent guitar. Dave, do you know if Rains is still in business? I know who took over the Carpsteel under the name of Legend (I think). Several of us are curious as to whether Rains is still in business or not. Thanks...... jim
You my friend are without a doubt the best Steel Guitar player I have ever heard and I've heard them all. Have you ever considered playing some of Bobby Vinton's songs?, such as Roses are red Violets are blue or any of his other hits. Another good song by the Cascades I believe is Rhythm of falling rain. I think you would be awesome.
fantastic sound, Dave, I have watched all your videos, many times , being a guitar player, I enjoy playing along, what happened to John,? I miss not seeing him in your videos, you guys played so well together. thank for the great music.. Roger, a great fan, from Enosburg Falls, Vermont...
Would LOVE to hear you play Vince Gill's 'Go Rest High On That Mountain. I think this made to be played on the pedal steel. Love all your music. Willis Jackson Oklahoma, U.S.A..
Would you consider playing some of Bobby Vinton's hit such as Roses are Red Violets are Blue or Rhythm of the falling rain by the cascades I believe. You are probably the best I have ever heard and I've heard them all.
I am not a good steel player yet, but I am confused by Harolds comment. What does he mean by pedal work. It looks like he uses his a and b and the song sounds flawless, as does all his music. With that being said, every player has a style so does it matter when it sounds that friggin good. By the way, this is one of my favorite songs ever written and sang.
Hello David! Are you staying with the George L or still in the testing stage? I don't think there's a better sound to be found than what you have here now. (0.58 to 1.03 for example. Truly sweet top to bottom.
Is there any way one of you fine steel players can go to my site and tell me what chord I'm playing the site is Shawn Stephens somewhat of a steel player. Thanks
Love your playing Dave! Way cool little riff down to the 4 chord at 2:27. Actually, ALL your playing is riddled with creativity and finesse. Keep posting please....

Emmylou Harris did a wonderful recording of this in 1980.
