  • Have you ever try baked mochi?? I have made so many type of mochi but none of them are baked. So today, I'm going to make my very first mochi using oven!
    This Japanese treat known as Chi Chi dango is a very popular dessert in Hawaii. It's sweet, pillow soft, chewy and sticky. Its super easy to make, you just have to bring everything together in one bowl, mix it and send it to oven. That's it!! (if you do not plan to make it layered like it did ^_^)
    My Chi Chi dango is on the soft side, reduce to water to 3/4 cup if you prefer your mochi more chewy.
    Ingredients:
    1)Glutinous rice flour - 225g
    2)Sugar - 90g
    3)Baking Powder - 1/4 tsp
    4)Water - 250g
    5)Coconut milk - 200g
    6)Strawberry powder - 3 tbsp
    7)Blueberry powder - 3 tbsp

    早前在谷歌就一直看到这类麻薯,它是夏威夷有名的日式甜点,叫Chi Chi dango,也就是麻薯的意思。Dango在日本是糯米团子,用糯米粉做的; 而传统的麻薯是用煮熟的糯米‘打’出来的。但现在很多麻薯也都是糯米粉做的,所以夏威夷的日裔都统称Chi Chi dango 为麻薯之一。
    它很软很糯,但却很有韧性。通常切成块状,没有包馅,单吃,沾花生粉或黄豆粉什么的也很好吃。我喜欢黄豆粉,有古早的味道。
    材料:
    1)糯米粉 - 225g
    2)白糖r - 90g
    3)泡打粉 - 1/4 tsp
    4)水 - 250g
    5)椰奶 - 200g
    6)草莓粉 - 3 tbsp
    7)蓝莓粉 - 3 tbsp
