LOVE how you add so much texture. That is so very important to those of us not blessed with thick beautiful hair. I so wish you could do mine as I can't seem to find a stylist that knows how to do that. The only one I know that could moved to TX and I live in TN. Sure do miss her. As always GREAT job.
+nailswithyvette Thank you so much. I hope you can find I stylist near buy. Social media has made it a little easier now because stylist are happy to show off their work. You can call salons near you and ask who gives the best Pixie cut in the salon and then check out their Instagram of Facebook to see if it's the style you are looking for. Good Luck my friend.
Hi Whippy, I just wanted to tell you that you inspired me to get my first pixie and shortest cut to date on very fine thin hair and I really love it. ♥
Glad this video came up in my recs, had my hair cut into a long pixie and have been struggling to style it properly, will try that curl with the straightener next time.
+Tiffany Winchester I totally agree. This pixie transformation is EVERYTHING! I'm so happy you liked it Tiffany. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
So did I and will be taking with me to my next appointment. I know my stylist could do this too...and find a way to customize it to my hair and face type (I hope!)
Whippycake, I know you mentioned on one of your Periscope that you might begin sharing videos of other cuts you do. I think your fans would like to see those, as well --- even though we'll always love your pixie vids. :-)
+Melanie Deardorff For sure more cuts are in the works, but for now the only non-pixie cut I have right now is Barclay's adorable cropped cut: ua-cam.com/video/N9eu0KHpWhI/v-deo.html
+LizzieStawr I wish I could do everyone's transformation too. I posted some photos of her style over on my blog if you want to take them to a stylist. I hope that helps a little bit. whippycake.com/?p=11744
+wilder mind Welcome to the Pixie Parade. i love hearing how much others love the Pixie. It is a game changer for me as well. Thanks for watching. Let me know if you ever have any pixie questions or tutorial requests. I'm happy to help!
cute cute cute! I do one question...what do you do with those cute bangs when they don't need to be in your face? like for nurses....we work in some stuff that we can't push our hair out of our face while looking down working with a patient. any styling tips?
your haircuts are amazing! I wish I could get my hair cut by you do bad! I'm actually in the process of growing out my pixie and it's in the really awkward stage where I hate it all the time and I can't really do much to it, plus the back always grows so much faster than the front and it bugs me so much! Well a girl could dream lol great work!
+wonderjess2123 I went through that process this last year. The best tip I can give you is to keep your trip appt. You want to keep the nape of the neck short and the side trimmed while the top grows out because the last thing you want is a mullet. You may even try getting an undercut at the nape to gut down how often you go in for a trim. I really loved when I had that done. This was my fave style when I was growing out my shorter style. Give it a try. bit.ly/1nknMa4
dying to cut my hair into a pixie cut. ive always wanted to do it but im so scared of it coming out botched haha but watching your videos is making me want to just go for it! you have a new subscriber 😄
+Vanessa Leon I love to hear that. I'm so flattered. Going short can be scary. Just do your research when picking a stylist, so that you feel more comfortable. You can always start with a longer style pixie (like this one) and then go shorter later. Keep me updated if you make the cut. Thank you so much for subscribing!
+Carj Baquiran - Have you ever had a consult with a stylist. Meeting with a professional in person so they can touch your hair and assess your profile and everything is the best way to find a cut for your face shape.
+Kristin Monson Hair responds differently to scissors and razors so I just use whatever the hair responds better to. You also get different kinds of texture w each so If I want very ended texture I use razor and for more control I use scissors
+whippycake I figured it was something sensible like that :) I always wonder when watching another stylist what their thought process is because I'm analyzing what I would do. If that makes sense....
whippycake I love your haircut I wish I could find a hair stylist that could cut my hair like yours . thank you for the video on how to communicate with your hair stylist maybe that will help me.
+Anaiza Gonzalez I hate to pick favorites, but if I did, this would be it. I just love what it did for her beautiful face. I even loved how her color turned out with the cut. Thank you so much!
+Maggie H I would def take in photos to your stylist of the cut that you love. You can always search "Pixie360" on my site for photos. Also, I made this video to help you know how to chat with your stylist. ua-cam.com/video/tf6KQLT-LhQ/v-deo.html I teach you terms to use to make sure you and your stylist are on the same page. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching! XOXO
+Yasi P This longer Pixie style would look great on curly hair. I also suggest Lisa's cut. She has thick curly hair and we both loved the results of her Pixie transformation. You can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/7VNZBFcA7rU/v-deo.html The longer Pixie/Bob or really short pixie are best for curly girls.
it was such a great video. İ want to have a pixie cut really much but i have concern about it because my hair is naturally curly. What do you think can i use this haircut in everyday life?
+Zeynep Meral Naturally curly girls either need a really short cut or a longer style like I did on Lisa here; ua-cam.com/video/7VNZBFcA7rU/v-deo.html The trick is to give it enough length to curl and not frizz. You need a really good stylist and good styling products to make this happen. If you want a pixie it will not be a wash and wear style, plan on investing some time into the style until you got it down.
whippycake thank you for your advice. you doing great job btw. İ think it would be very informative if you can make a video about curly pixie hair musts, product you advice. have a nice day.
+Shawna Fairchild I love that you spotted the Jams. I love these things. This weekend I used a sharp heart & circle hole punch to create some fun negative space designs on my nails. I HEART Jamberry.
Cool cutting techniques! Just was wondering...all of these pixie cuts/bobs, for the most part, have the hair flowing forward, with longer bangs & on top of head, plus the inverted look of longer in the front by the face and jaw with a shorter stacked or undercut in the back of the head. Is there any variation of this look, to be flowing back, instead of forward and not have all that hair in the face? I have a very low hairline and short forehead and my hair naturally grows forward and then has the tendency to be flat on the top of my head and just go flat and straight down on the sides. I don't like that look on me, from the front of my face, especially if too short. My hair is "stick straight stubborn" and fine textured, but I do have "a lot of hair", as all hair stylists have told me my whole life...I just say it's thick. So....I want a textured, layered look with volume and body and I have been experimenting with different hair products and cuts for years. Any ideas?
+Sandra Roecker The pixie cuts I do are always whatever the client wants and it just happens that the looks I have done have the longer bang. The shorter your hair the thicker it will feel so having shorter bangs and more cropped will def achieve what you are aiming for. I recommend Sexy Hair products for thin hair Big Boost || Big Sexy Hair - bit.ly/1qDbMjB Powder Play || Big Sexy Hair - bit.ly/1lfkFJh Play Dirty Dry Wax Spray || Style Sexy Hair bit.ly/1BFFgAF
+Kim Harshbarger - Thank you so much. I actually am not working at a salon or anything at the time. I occasionally do a cut here and there for friends or for videos but I don't really take clients. I can recommend some awesome stylist here in Arizona if you need someone though.
What products did you use to achieve this look? I saw you flat iron at the base for volume. I just had all of my hair cut off like this, but I naturally curly hair. I have curled it with a curling iron, I have flat ironed it straight, but it never comes out like messy beachy waves. I want this look, or like the Kaley curraco when she had the longer pixie. (probably spelled wrong)
I want a bob pixie or pixie bob or long pixie so many ideas right now I have a short bob with side shave I have had the side shave over a year I love it
Hello!! The past few months I've been thinking about cutting my hair, and I finally made the appointment to get it all cut off in two weeks! I have long curly hair that goes down to the small of my back. I haven't gotten more than a trim in five years, so as you can imagine I am pretty nervous! I want a longer pixie, because I have curly hair. I've had a consultation with my stylist, and I've been searching for pictures online like crazy. I do have a major fear of getting my hair cut though, which is one of the reasons I am doing it. Do you have any advice to prepare myself for the big cut?
+Elleanor Nielsen What a big change for you. I think it will be really fun. Have you seen the Pixie transformation I did on Lisa. ua-cam.com/video/7VNZBFcA7rU/v-deo.html It's possible that might have the same curl as her. It's fun to see a longer curly pixie. Also, it's all about confidence. It took me a few days to adjust to it, but then I got a compliment from a stranger and that just sealed the deal for me. I chat about it in this video ua-cam.com/video/vuxss5h7x78/v-deo.html (you can skip to the end). Keep me updated. Love you so much for sharing your excitement.
you always do a great cut! however, I wish you'd show a variety of pixies...they all resemble the same kind of pixie that looks like yours! anyway, nice cut. you've got skill!
+BB Slater When I am doing a cut I try to do what the client is asking for and it just kinda happened to be that someone of them wanted a pixie with longer bangs so that's why they have similarities. Maybe some time we will get someone who wants something totally different and then we will have some real fun!
Of course, I don't even know why I wrote this back when. I must of been craving shorter pixies. lol. Thanks for your response!! I love your channel and presence!!
Wow, amazing job! I really want a pixie cut but I'm afraid I won't look good because my hair is super thick and it'll probably end looking like a motorcycle helmet
+Pikachu Hachoo - if you're willing to invest in good products to help you style it and time to spend flat ironing/curling it then you can totally go for it. Bc you have thick hair though I will be totally honest and say that it will take more time and effort to style and manage but it's totally doable if you factor in the extra time. not like hours or anything, just an extra 10-15 min.
Help. I went in to a salon for a long bang pixie. Spoke with the hairdresser and showed her lots of pictures. My cut did not come out right at all. The back is super short and the front with long bangs does not blend well to the back. I know it will grow out in a month or two. Do you have any suggestions? My hair was very long and this is my first pixie cut so the hair dresser had plenty of hair to work with.
+Mandy McDonald Definitely go back and ask for it to be fixed and maybe even request a more advance stylist. Ask them to make the front and back transition better. When I have a bad cut I try to wear it curled or wavy so the uneven, choppiness isnt as obvious. That might be a good solution until it grows a bit
Thanks ladies, I know I am supposed to go back and the reason I have not is because I do not want to go shorter. I watched your tutorial on curling and have been curling the front. I really like the way it looks in the front. The back is just mia farrow short and I wanted it more your length in back. I wish I could post a picture for you to see.
+whippycake what kind of pixie would look good on someone with a small forehead or head? Because I believe that everyone looks good in a pixie, but I haven't found the right one yet...
She looks even better after the cut!
+Alex xelA - awe, thanks!
that haircut made her stunning.
+jupiterdreamer She IS stunning. So beautiful inside and out. I love this cut on her too, so young and fun. Thanks!
Wow she looks adorable in that cut
Ahhh why does everyone look so good with a pixie crop!? I absolutley love having pixie lengh hair, i wish i could get it cut this short again!
+Miss Sadie You should! I'm sure it would look great.
Go for it
Definitely want this cut ... Your work is perfect. Love the length on Michelle's pixie.
+Rebecca Casdorph - Thank you so much! Cutting hair is like art to me, i just really love to do it.
LOVE how you add so much texture. That is so very important to those of us not blessed with thick beautiful hair. Ooh this cut is nice! Especially the back.
She looks amazing
I have yet to find someone that can cut my hair like that. Awesome
You have to do a lot of breakups with hairstylists until you find one that gets you. GOOD LUCK! Thank you! XOXO
She looks very good! you did it great 😊
+zrh8185 Thank you so much. So glad you liked it.

I love this pixie cut,, think I might do this next!
Getting a pixie cut was one of the best things I did this year. I don't think I could ever go back to long hair.
Are those Jamberry nails? Love them and your work.
+April Adams yes indeedy! Thank you so much!
dying to cut my hair into a pixie cut. ive always wanted to do it but im so scared of it coming out botched haha but watching your videos is making me want to just go for it! you have a new subscriber 😄
+Vanessa Leon I love to hear that. I'm so flattered. Going short can be scary. Just do your research when picking a stylist, so that you feel more comfortable. love it as always you did an awsome job whippy...
+Bianca Rodriguez Thank you. She certainly rocks the cut.
That's the cut that i would go for its perfect do you have an email?
that was awesome! i wanna have a pixie haircut but i dont know what suits my face shape..
+Carj Baquiran - Have you ever had a consult with a stylist. Meeting with a professional in person so they can touch your hair and assess your profile and everything is the best way to find a cut for your face shape.
You got some skills, girl!
+Bast Productions Thank you so much! And thanks for watching. XOXO
Great cut!!! Looks amazing
+Tammy Valencia I agree. I'm so glad she did it!
Adorable! Quick fellow stylist question; what was you thought process with using scissors to texturize as apposed to a razor?
+Kristin Monson Hair responds differently to scissors and razors so I just use whatever the hair responds better to. You also get different kinds of texture w each so If I want very ended texture I use razor and for more control I use scissors
+whippycake I figured it was something sensible like that :) I always wonder when watching another stylist what their thought process is because I'm analyzing what I would do. If that makes sense....
ive been wanting to get a long pixie cut for a change, i.love this haircut...would like to get it done by u
If you would like to be apart of the Pixie Parade just email about it and I'll see what I can do :)
whippycake email my idea?

whippycake I love your haircut I wish I could find a hair stylist that could cut my hair like yours . thank you for the video on how to communicate with your hair stylist maybe that will help me.
No problem! Glad I could help and let me know if you need anything else :)
I love this cut! Could you tell me what razor you use and where to get it?
+wordellliz401 Thank you! The razor I use is a Rocket dog razor and I got it from a distributor. I'm sorry that I don't have a link or anything.
It looks so pretty.
Beautiful cut!
Master is excellent. The pixie haircut is great and the styling is the same.
I too wanna have this haircut..But i am confused whether it will suit me or not??? I need a suggestion from you mam.

Great job! I love it and it suits her!!!! 😊
+Anaiza Gonzalez I hate to pick favorites, but if I did, this would be it. I just love what it did for her beautiful face. I even loved how her color turned out with the cut. Thank you so much!
Pixie cuts are so cute ~
+RooFooChoo AMEN! Do you have a Pixie too?
I had pixie cuts all from middle school and in 9th grade, Im growing my hair out to change it up tho :D

Love this hair style . How would this work on curly hair?...
I love your technique! ♡
+Terri Mendez Wow, thank you so much! That means a lot to me. Thank you for following along on here.

+Shawna Fairchild LOL! Me too.
So pretty!
RIP Whippy Cake. You are missed.
Have you ever done a pixie on natural curly hair ? Please make a video
Not really but I will keep that in mind!
Oh my god! I love this!

yay waiting so long for this! #pixiequeen ♡♡
+jgrootful Ahhh, thank you so much for being SOOOO patient. Sorry for the wait. Isn't it just the best though? She looks amazing!
Thats so Wonderful !
I'm looking to know how to cut my own hair like this
always loved pixie cuts, but I am very concerned. my hair is so weird, thick and curly in the roots. Don't know what to do!
+Nairobis Rios Unfortunately I would not recommend a pixie for wirer like hair. It's just gonna be a lot maintenance and time required to manage it.
Super cute!
I'm gonna try and cut my own hair. Wish me luck
i love the cut.
+Danyelle Jones Thank you for watching and loving this Pixie transformation as much as I do. Do you also have a Pixie?
I have a long bob. I used to have a pixie.
super cute!

great cut on her ed
Wow, amazing job! I really want a pixie cut but I'm afraid I won't look good because my hair is super thick and it'll probably end looking like a motorcycle helmet
+Pikachu Hachoo - if you're willing to invest in good products to help you style it and time to spend flat ironing/curling it then you can totally go for it. Bc you have thick hair though I will be totally honest and say that it will take more time and effort to style and manage but it's totally doable if you factor in the extra time. not like hours or anything, just an extra 10-15 min.
+whippycake Aww, thank you for responding and for the piece of advice. I'll definitely keep this haircut in mind next time I visit a salon :D
Go back to the hairdressers and complain. They might fix it for you. 😉 hope it gets sorted 😘
+Mandy McDonald yay! I'm happy you sorted it out 😜👌
Love it 😍
is pixie will do fine with oblong faces?
+whippycake what kind of pixie would look good on someone with a small forehead or head? Because I believe that everyone looks good in a pixie, but I haven't found the right one yet...
+Richard For Life Have you tried a shorter cropped bang. I always love that look on people with smaller faces.
