His track records for hiring coaches is abysmal. Davis can’t do it either. Brady is the unknown but if he wants to bring in the hoody or someone else off his coaching tree, Brady isn’t qualified to hire a head coach either.
@@bobmopar2587 Keep in mind, John Spanos had total control over hiring and firing at the Chargers. It says so right on their own website, and he's flatly stated so himself. Telesco had minimal control as GM. Mostly drafting, and some contracts (though Spanos likely determined the money amount).
I’ll be honest I’m not a big fan of Mike Vrabel however he is a good coach and if I were him with the options that he seems to have I’m not taking the raiders job. I agree with you guys. If you have options do not take the Raiders job only a guy with limited options I would think would take that job, or a coach who has been offered money that he can’t refuse with no state taxes in Vegas. I do really like Brian Flores this guy has a light out defense and a skiing that most offices can’t figure out however the Raider job isn’t a very attractive job in my opinion
Jon Gruden is the coach the makes sense for the Raiders. Mark Davis didn't want to let him go in the first place. Jon Gruden had the people in place, including a franchise QB, to make a proper deep run into the playoffs. When he exited, the next coach couldn't execute Jon Gruden's vision. This cause players to leave for greener pastures.
I could see it. He obviously loves football but I see him sticking to being a commentator and just trying to attract talent to the Raiders whether it be coaches or players
When the hockey team showed up , most peeps chose the same relative area to live and then the layers and the families created a closer bond as well. You can't tell them where to live but if you have plan in place before such a move it pans out better
Had those emails not come out, JG would still be the HC right now. Doesn’t mean they would be winning, but let’s not pretend MD was as impulsive like many other owners. I hope Minn gets spanked.
There are positives: 4 draft picks in the first 100. Team has over $100m in cap space. Stable GM in Tom Telesco - unsure though how much meddling Mark Davis will do though. That is a real concern. Have one bad year and while Telesco supports you, Davis fires you anyway.
Raiders won 4 games, Most teams fire a coach for that BTW.. Raiders have a lot of good people on the D when healthy.. They have around 100 Mill in Cap, Vegas is Tax Free.. The Only Fault of Mark Davis was listening to the players and they wanted AP.. There's good and Bad with it, but if a Team has fired there coach, it's going to be that way anyway because if it wasn't the coach wouldn't be fired..
Media is talking about it being a bad job might mean there are lots of coaches actually want the job. Media really never have a clue of what is actually going on
The one nobodies talking about is Bruce Arians, he's a proven winner and hes great at building QBs, both things that the Raiders desperately need
He’s too old
Retired. Old.
@@janski1982 Andy Reid is old, Jim Harbaugh is old, Sean Payton is old - all 3 are in the Playoffs all 3 know how to win and all 3 are in our division
He retired
@@Sea_Stallion he's not retired he's just not a head coach, he's currently on staff with Tampa Bay
We got Ben Johnson coming in on Friday and we need to give him an offer he can’t refuse
He is using us as leverage. We do not have a QB. New England is a better landing spot. If he does come they will have to get a QB he wants.
Raiders need to let Tom Telesco do his job, and be a primary focal point of interviewing and hiring a HC.

If i were Vrabel i would would think about Jacksonville or Chicago! any ware but New England!
Vegas has Liam Coen and Kellen Moore at the best odds. Would like Coen over Moore but good with an offensive mind that isn’t a Josh mcdaniels type

Brian Flores in Miami was literally all those things he described lol
Perhaps Tomlin wants a new challenge? 😮
Not a bad idea. He would definitely bring leadership
Not a bad idea for Las Vegas but at the same time who really wants to take that job
Why not? 100 million cap space @@brucelau2023

Over 100 million cap space
What about Bill OBrien
Albert Breer says they've put in a request for Ben Johnson. Probably won't come to anything, but at least they're aiming high.
Tom Brady is the boss Davis already took a backseat
It’s a bummer all of Florios coverage of Brady is pure jealousy.
Brady will advise Davis to go down the Patriot way because that’s all he knows and has experience with.
Wait for this:
Tom Brady as HC.
I could see it. He obviously loves football but I see him sticking to being a commentator and just trying to attract talent to the Raiders whether it be coaches or players
Woke florio looks like he’s about to cry 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Raiders owner don’t know how to pick a coach, track record doesn’t lie.
1:46 I just wish he stfu 🤬 my god he just be running off at the lips

Still paying JG
@ yeah.. duh
It has to be the least appealing job that is open sadly

@@PhilAndersonOutside I actually forgot about the Saints. That may be the worst job right now
why isn't Jon ngruden being mentioned enough
Naaah man . Way Too many missed draft picks .
Not to mention ahhhh they just fired him not long ago
He didn’t do so well last time. Plus he would want too much control. He and GM Tom Telesco would clash.
Exactly why Da Raiders should have kept AP at least 1 more season.

If Mark wants to pay the 10M buyout, sure.

Trade for the #1 pick guaranteeing Shaeuder and hire Prime.
They might as well play games at Circus Circus if they do that.
Bill johnson best candidate but Bill may not want raiders
If he didn’t want Washington with Daniels, he definitely not taking Raiders with O'Connell
@DWoodsII bill unsteady of commanders past and play in dump stadium
They should hire Deion Sanders
Nah, Sanders is good for college football imo
