@@timtaylor1365 Quite. In fact after a bit the ridge lift from White Horse stopped working and once I got below take off I searched along the ridge for a thermal to get enough height to top land.

@@TheSecretVault Don't really feel the cold that much when you're low at 20-25 mph airspeed. Different matter entirely on a 45mph glide at cloudbase!

Wondered why you were obsessed with the White Horse but then realised you get the wind off the ridge and if you go into the valley you will drop.
