Thanks Grahame! Some coffee and a great start to my day with one of your excellent videos. I love your relaxed style and how you share your thoughts as you are painting.
Welcome back Grahame!! Thank you again for your time explaining the process. Beautiful scene! By the way, it seems that you have made significant changes in your palette: gamboage, sandal red, Primary blue cyan.... No more Phthalos, Quinacridones... Would you mind tell us which are the rest of the pigments and the reason of changes? Is it a matter of taste, the scene, experimentation, etc.? Thank you!
Just different names from the MaimeriBlu range. Gamboge is a warm yellow, Sandal Red uses the Pyrol Red pigment as in Winsor Red and Primary Blue Cyan is Phthalo Blue GS. The colours I use are still pretty much the same, a warm and a cool version of the three primaries.
A beautiful picture painted by an exceptional artist. Lovely way to spend an hour or two. Thankyou Grahame.
Great to see a new video from you Grahame, thank you, keep them regular if you can.

It's more about relating the position and proportion of everything else to one object Trev, in this case the main yellow building.
