this was why i couldn’t watch more than half an hour into the stream. watching mysta and luca both get talked over constantly and not being able to say anything until ike, vox, or shu stepped in for them was so heartbreaking. this is ultimately the consequence of having a big collab stream where the time to discuss is limited.

Mysta has said he’s actually pretty introvert and when groups are too big he struggles to feel comfortable hand he gets really quiet. I relate so hard. This was a huge lobby and it’s hard for introverts to say anything when ppl are loudly talking over them

aww it's so sweet how they stepped in for him, especially when ike went "Yeah but you wanted to say something and I wanted you to say it" like he was not having it he called an emergency meeting to get mysta comfortable.
Also I think since the girls have high pitched voices, they sound more clear in an 'argument', like you hear them better, so they might not really notice... And since they're all talking one above the other...

Thing is all three of them are introverts they understand how hard it is to get speaking room when you're surrounded by extroverts and of course I love how supportive they are of eachother. But I also hope people remember that this is a hectic game where you get fired up about your stance on things, some of the girls are extroverted they get absorbed in the debate, that's not a bad thing nor is it exclusive to extroverts. I've always loved Nijisanji EN because you can clearly see how much they care for eachother and how open, honest, and considerate they are of one another. I hope no one takes this as a reflection of who the girls are, or project their feelings into the mix, if there is a problem they will talk and solve it amongst themselves there is no need for hate or disrespect towards anyone.

Thank you for saying this. This stream was my first with nijisanji EN as a whole and my first impression with some of them. Honestly i had it bad for some of the girls for a quite long time but I managed to watch their other streams and my perception towards them have changed so far. It's true that Among Us is a hectic game and without context of how close they are irl there might be people like me who'll see things negatively (at least at first).
I've seen Among Us games from other streamer groups that's a lot more controlled in terms of talking over each other, I think it just comes down to lack of experience and a strong desire to win.

Man it's so hard when everyone is talking and you can't say anything because the moment you start trying, everyone drowns you out. Having a Shu and an Ike in your life really makes you feel 🥲🥲. This makes me happy and sad lol

The game conditions the players to be defensive so it SHOULD be understood why they'd try to talk their ways out before anyone else. Do not project, as the viewers, our feelings over them because they know what they are doing and what they'd do, while we as viewers don't know it as much as the streamers themselves.

Aww this kinda hurt my heart I didn’t know any of this happened and it’s pretty wholesome seeing Ike and Shu helping out Mysta. (It’s also cute that you can hear Mysta smile sometimes). I can kinda relate too, as an introvert it’s pretty hard to join in a conversation when everyone saying and screaming things left and right. I’m glad they did that though. They’re great friends. No hate to the girls. Although, you can get a little bit fired up while playing games with a ton of people, it’s always good to stop and let someone speak, regardless if what they have to say is important or not.

i literally got emotional after watching this omg. Ike and Shu are such good friends to Mysta and I know exactly how Mysta feels trying to talk but being talked over and not wanting to come off as rude or interupt anyone
I completely agree with the title but want to add Nina, she also tried to help Mista talk and explain things to him when he asked and her voice too was drowned in the sea of loud voices that were there
this is one of the downsides of having so many people in a single collab. i don't fault any of the other streamers for talking over mysta, luca, or anyone else, because i'm sure they meant no harm. however, it's still heartbreaking to see people getting talked over. though it makes me feel all fuzzy inside seeing mysta's gen mates telling other people to let him speak.
based on how the stream went, i don't think collabs huge collabs are gonna get frequent any time soon, especially now when we're getting new waves and increasingly more members. more people will probably come in through the following year. that's just my thoughts on it though. maybe next time they can do big collabs but not have everyone in a single vc

No hate to the girls; but, it's not only this collab, they seem to always talk so loudly over each other. Especially the boys it seemed, this collab was the worst of it! I couldn't even watch 15mins of it because I was so upset and frustrated for Mysta and poor Luca too. I like to watch the girls too but I remember watching a recent collab with Vox and a few of them and he kept repeating 'please, let me speak' and just kept getting interrupted. Agh. It's so frustrating when they are so polite about it, it hurts even more!!! Let my boys speak!!! 😩😫😭

I agree too! I remember I was in Vox's stream and while I was commenting that Mysta needed to speak, heck almost all of the luxiem members were being talked over, other kindred (which I can understand but as an introvert, I was meh with), saying that it's part of among us and you have to talk and assert yourself to get your point across. But Mysta was doing this! If I were him, I'd blow up too. I really appreciate Ike and Shu helping. No hate or anything to the girls, I just hope they consider the boys more, because I know the boys are trying their best.

i remember i never finished watching the stream live or even the vod bc everyone (not just the girls) kept talking over eachother and i don’t have that many patience so i cbb to finish watching it. even then, this doesn’t give the right for anyone to talk shit abt the girls bc its literally a game where you have to argue and debate to not send yourself off the ship so for them getting way into it, is not wrong for them playing the game correctly.
Them sticking up for Mysta, especially Ike who is pretty introverted himself, is so amazing!
i remember ike saying that he is also very shy but he was not only brave enough to speak up for his friend but also somehow managed to not be impolite or shout or get angry at anyone and be so patient and calm man i just love him so much he's great
Aww this is so wholesome. I can relate to mysta in a spiritual level, it sucks :( that's why i would rather in a small group of people and just work on the background. People sometimes want to speak so much but don't wanna hear the other first. I get that this is a game where you have limits to talk, but i really dont know why people do this irl, i just don't get it :( I wish i got a friend like Ike and Shu, but man universe is not at my side. I really love the relationship between the luxiem boys, they really support each other like a real homies that already met for a long time

I feel so emotional idk why. im a shy person so I don't talk much but when I do I get talked over most of the time when I'm in a group. I've never had someone speak up for me, I wish I had friends like ike and shu..
I feel identified with Mysta because I am the exact same way when in a large group, only difference is I don't have an Ike or Shu in my life, so what usually happens to me is that the conversation keeps going and eventually I even forget what I was going to say. Seeing Ike and Shu stand up for Mysta made me really happy, I pray they keep being together like that. I am also proud since I can see someone have something I don't think I will ever have, so seeing someone else get it (in this case Mysta) makes me feel at ease and fills me with joy for them.

Oh yeah whenever groups play among us for the first time it gets pretty chaotic. Plus the girls have fairly high pitched voices which is always tough to hear at high volumes lol.
i know i’m a bit late but i’ve seen a few people slandering/hating on the girls and let’s not do that, please. at the time there were only 5 boys and there were 10 girls. a majority of the girls have higher pitched voices so of course the boys lower voices would get talked over. and in among us i know a lot of people know but you need to be loud to get heard/to defend yourself in this game. yes i know it was quite rude to talk over people but that’s how this game is
I can't watch these among us videos because I get so frustrated when they talk over people especially mysta and luca.
And honestly it's mostly the senpai's who talk over them and it's so annoying because if they ever get accused of being the impostor they can't even defend themselves because the senpai's won't let them speak for a goddamn second.
It's so heartbreaking to see when for example mysta just stops talking even though he was gonna say something because it's hard to communicate when there are people yelling left and right so he has to shut himself up just so they can continue blabbering.

This reminds me of when everyone is talking and then someone says something and they end up talking to themselves because no one heard them. If I would catch it, I would always shift my attention from the group conversation to a two person conversation.

honestly this happened to me while playing among us with a bunch of friends in vc today and its hard really. like mysta explained once, you sorta just give up on trying to talk and let them continue. i tried talking after they were done and was cut off again and sorta just gave up. and then one of my friends started complaining bcs he didnt get to explain and we just voted and im sitting here like, "at least you didn't get cut off 50 times?"

This is so sweet honestly, I can relate with Mysta because I once played Among us with a huge group on discord and some people were shouting things left and right and i just wanted to join in the conversation to say one thing, and so luckily, I had someone like Ike and Shu step in and let me speak and let me be acknowledged wwww. It was kind of getting annoying during the stream but I'm happy that Ike and Shu were there.
