Wow, nice. An old and mostly forgotten reservoir conduit. Really amazing what is under our feet. It's like a whole world that has been abandoned yet remains untouched and unspoiled. I really appreciate that you don't show the location of these underground treasures. It's so nice to see these places thet have been untouched for nearly a century and yet are.npt plackarded with graffiti and litter.

I found this super interesting even with it being very repetitive. Massive old infostructure still intact along with the unique brick work along the way. Thanks for the awesome adventure guys.
The painted numbers on the wall are stationing numbers. 00+00 would be the beginning 01+00 would be 100 ft ahead.. 01+50 would be 150 feet ahead.. so on and so fourth. Would give you an idea of how much ground you're covering if you explore a place similar!

I'm from a small steel town in pa. There a 66in. Pipe just like that it goes through the mountains all the way into town, it was there to supply cooling water to the steel mills. You probably found something similar
What a marvel that tunnel turned out to be, very interesting culmination of the exploration. It would be interesting to see a Google Earth overview of the reservoir that pipe used to service.

There was a collapse in there once. How did they get the loose rock out of there? I used to work on a military base. Like most military bases, it ran on steam in the Winter. Steam always requires substantial tunnels. I still have dreams about the tunnels.
shit runs on steam all year long AND in 100+ degree weather. God damn AC goes out in the mess hall in July and your dumbass(not YOU but people in general) is sitting in front of god damn steam tables, steamer units, steam kettles, and other steam bullshit all because the Marines has the MOS still in a very small capacity. Literally a whole ass base with 50+ areas and EVERY ONE of them had to be fucking steam even though there was only one mess hall Marines train at on the whole base and even that was being phased out. That was a decade ago too. steam in every building i went into as well. Probably make you wipe ur ass and shower with steam if they could. I was happy to get my ranges back( after 3 years of various mess service) once i got transferred to a university with the same company. I mean i missed the steam kettles and steam racks but i didn't miss cooking on little induction cooktops when we needed to do cooktop stuff.

It would be hilarious if ya set up a go pro next a storm drain w/heavy foot traffic and not necessarily see the reactions, but hear them, because ya can’t just record unwilling people, but just going & following them from underneath would be priceless!!! Oh plus Bender was a good belly crawler in that flick just like yinz!!!

This video kept me on the edge of my sofa. *You should put your feet in plastic bread bags so they don't get wet. It's extremely important to keep your feet dry. Just because it's 90° outside that doesn't mean you won't encounter very cold water or mud. Also bring Nature Valley bars, they are slim for your pocket and wrapped in waterproof packaging. Also bring plums, very juicy and don't need to be peeled. Plus water. 💭And hand warmers.💭 Also bring 3 times more light batteries than you think you need.💭 Did you tell anyone that you were going in there? ( No this is not your Mother writing this with a fake name.)
Wonder what the design life for the steel roof supports were... probably pretty close to maximum sacrificial thickness by now or perhaps long since passed... would think the roof would be in danger of collapse sooner rather than later.
It would be really neat to open up that pipe at your beginning part, make a cart with rubber wheels that you could sit in and propel through the pipe down to the reservoir it is disconnected from now., your own little railway!? That is, of course, if it isn't full of a ton of stuff blocking your passage., probably not since it carried water originally!
