In the city (New Delhi) i regularly and easily get 21 to 22 kilometers per liter which is 4.76 L/100 km and is close to the company claim. In city the car is more on EV mode due to slower driving conditions and stop start traffic. On highways the fuel consumption rises as speeds are higher. The highest i have managed is 24.5 kmpl or 4.08 L/100 km in the City. On a recent 1100 km trip which was mostly on the expressway and max speed was limited to 100 kmph it returned 15.5-16 kmpl.
@@IndianOverlander we can compare and say one 1 is costly affront another is over the period and one is reliable another can break down during long trips etc.... whats not there to compare, its like brand racism saying not to compare :P just wait...once mahindra launches hybrid toyota India will start sweating
this car is just slightly over 200k and if Toyota didn't adjust the pricing then this Innova Zenix Hybrid will subject to luxury tax later to make it even more expensive?
Malaysia should make the a law that stipulate any passenger car with price tag RM100k and above, must have a hybrid system or be an electric vehicle. With this law, the cars owned by the rich people consume less RON95, hence the subsidy on RON95 used by the rich people become less.
The non-hybrid Honda BRV 1.5 has almost 25km/L fuel efficiency, I would say in actual driving about 20km/L. Just imagine if Honda creates a hybrid BRV variant.
i was very surprised it's quite efficient and so extremely quiet the cabin is 😊 (of course innova zenix is always my favourite and it's my dream car)
I achieved 20km/L in a trip before. But in general, last 3 full tanks, average fuel consumption (city drive) is 15.5km/L. RM80 full tank for 600km.
Seoriusly??? Very fuelsave type of car
@@rashdanasyraf1188the right word is fuel efficient.

Thank you for the excellent input
Great to see more Indian car enthusiasts following the og uncle!
5L costlier than xuv, that means you can cover 50k km(assuming avg of 10) with that much worth fuel
@@dkbaghel123 there is no comparasion in reliability and aftersales between Toyota and Mahindra. Kindly don't compare the two 🙏🙏

Only Toyota can answer that
Nice
Seen one. The tyre/ rim too small for such a big body
Maybe you saw the older model. The new one looks great.
Uncle please review Corrola Altis GR sport on genting hill climb.

I have a BRV at home and it has never got anywhere near 25 km/l. And yes. Honda hve great hybrid vehicles too.
