no , the man behind those walls that pulling those strings are Baroo ... He's amassing all the orokin technology ( prime stuff ) from stupid tenno , building himself a massive army of Primes!!
I personally took that when Natah said her father was a farmer and her mother a carpenter and that they were taken to the golden light, that they used to be human and were turned into robots.
Doesn't seem that far off considering that she/the sentients were literally turning Ballas into a sentient in the chimera quest. He was even talking about her giving him the gift of life, kinda like the golden light Natah was talking about. So her parents having those more casual jobs, does that mean the orikin just took the common folk and turned them into worker bots, aka the sentients?
Yes , totally agree with you , Developing an AI is expensive.. while brain shelving n digitizing brains into data is a cheap process once u have all the equipment and technology .. the bonus part is , having human thinking power makes it possible for the sentient to have problem solving capacity instead of relying on provided FAQ and AI thinking logarithm .. Like training an AI to learn which is bee and which is 3 from CGP grey videos..
Yesss, time for some more juicy lore. And given what we have seen, I believe I can speak for some of our fellow tenno that its high time we PERSONALLY THROW OUR BELOVED LOTUS INTO THE SUN
when i started warframe i had no fucking clue what was going on, the second dream came out and i still had no clue, the war within just added to the confusion then the sacrifice put the cherry on top of the confusion and when i found your channel it explained everything and i cannot be anymore thankful because now i understand alot and ngl im excited for alot of the story missions to come now so thanks alot you helped a bunch :)
What if the helmet is Margulis? You say Natah might be injected with Margulis soul, and we see her come back once she takes of her helmet. So maybe Margulis is the helmet?
I'm not really all up to date with warframe lore, but would it make sense for margulis being transformed into a cephalon by ballas and stuck into the helmet? He really doesn't seem like he wanted her to be executed, so let's say he managed somehow to capture margulis as a cephalon (or just her "souls" or whatever), stick her into the helmet and put that helmet on natah. What if margulis from the helmet influenced natahs behaviour? That would explain why Natah goes full on sentien after the helmet is off and why ballas was so adamant that Margulis is actually still alive (maybe thinking that given enough time Margulis persona would bleed into Natah). But why did Natah throw away the helmet then and ballas didn't care about it? Could be explained by Margulis not wanting to go back to ballas and just yeeting out, while ballas believed that natah fully converted into margulis after all this time. I'm sleep deprived and this probably consists of 90% loopholes, but i like to speculate :p
@@finnthefannibal Did say it in my previous comment, it doesn't make all that much sense, but maybe Ballas was so convinced after all this time that Margulis essentially "took over" Natah that he thought he didn't need it anymore? It's not all that sound of an argument, but Natah wouldn't immediately go sentient again after taking off the helmet right? It would take some time, enough time to fool Ballas maybe. Besides, Margulis wanted to get executed rather than work with the orikins, feels like she would take any chance to get away from Ballas. It's definetly only speculation, but considering Natah's sudden (and extreme) shift in behaviour at the exact time the helmet got removed, and me just not believing that the helmet holds more significance than just being a helmet ... there definetly is more to this.
Sorry for late reply. I think the reason ballas didnt take the helmet was probably because he wanted to finish the mission of bringing Natah home then grab the helmet (but we of course beat him to the it). The most likely possibility is Ballas was so consumed by grief over Margulis he couldnt even tell them apart Edit:sorry for bad spelling am fixing it
Thought. Alad V wanted to get rid of the Gropylyst. My think is that we get rid of the sentient wiretap between alad and natah. Alad, through his dabbling in sentient biology(?), knows about a weakness which is not programmed, but rather innate. I am thinking like Ayatan statues from The War Within. Perhaps the weakness of Sentients is that they lack a strong attachment to their souls, or Oro. This weakness is not added as with their Void allergies, but rather their property of being an artificial lifeform. Thus, making them susceptible to transferrance. So. Here's my combat plan. We board the sentient chap- space carrier. Then we transfer into the carrier. We void jump to TAU. We then Transfer into TAU. Then by collecting our hopes and dreams, we spirit bomb the sentients.
I know this may be a little late. but can you talk about the relays? not so long ago we experienced the reconstruction of one of those, i think it will make a good subject
I have avoided spoilers for this update till it came out for switch till now but I can't resist you!! Now excuse me as I go cry listening to Lotus transmissions because of what I think we learned now... *cries*
Finally, someone brings up one of my gripes with the 'Lore' community in most games. The fact that most tend to forget a simple fact; people LIE. The whole part about Lotus having been, for lack of better term, 'brainwashed' by the Orokin could just as well be a lie fed to Ballas while HE was being brainwashed in turn. Lotus' turn to the side of the Sentients could be actual reprogramming as opposed to 'counter-programming' or 'breaking a programming'. After all, when we wounded Ballas at the end of Sacrifice, we were, well, dead to rights. We were surrounded by several Sentients, while we ourselves were vulnerable and just had an unranked, unequipped frame in Excalibur Umbra. She could have handed Ballas over to another drone and taken to fighting us, but she DIDN'T. She FLED. That tells me that there's a part of OUR Lotus still left inside. "But dude", you might say "even if she fought us, she couldn't kill us because we'd just wake up in our Orbiter." Fair enough, I say, but do remember; she HAS BEEN ON OUR ORBITER BEFORE. She can FIND our Obriters, she can BOARD it. The one thing no Grineer or Corpus or Infested can do; they CANNOT kill us because WE, our ACTUAL bodies, are safe in our orbiter. But Lotus? She can find us. She can send her drones into our Orbiter and kill us there, defenceless. But she left. That's a huge plot hole that can be taken advantage of by DE (if they ever so much as bother progressing that story to some kind of end) to return our Space-mom to us without retconning the entire thing (yet again, as Shy's pointed out).
honestly i think the story will be simple from now on i e lotus helmet may be the "reprogramming" natah's talking about so our mission will be putting the helmet back on and we bring mommy back and then we fight against grandma and the new amalgams and new sentient tilesets...
I've been telling people since The New War was teased that we will NOT be going to Tao in game as both the resources to create Tao would drain DE from any other content updates and that in game its illogical to travel there without some kind of Mass Effect style warp system which has no precedence for Warframe. The Sentients WILL invade and the new tileset will most logically be similar in function to how the Kuva Fortress works. Gas city and Natah's monologue leading to the fight are proof of that. And hopefully we will get to kill Natah. Quote Natah in the Ropalolyst mission; "But now I am saved. My family together, we will overcome the flaws of our light. The gods of our creation. Merging with them like steel. Bearing amalgams, with the weakness of neither." If this doesn't scream 'We are evolving and we will come to get you' than I sincerely don't know what does.
Alrighty, theory time. you know how the orokin can use transference, right? and not just into other living humans, but objects like the silver grove, right? Suppose Natah was not, in fact, reprogrammed, but the lotus helmet she used to wear contained Margulis after she was executed, and BALLAS put her there. When they put the helm on Natah, the two of them fought but met halfway, destroying the orokin but saving the tenno. This also explains why we can hear the helmet whispering to us at the beginning of the sacrifice.
That's the best idea I've heard on the marggy lotus balas triangle... not like he was half brain dead or anything he is highly intelligent and ruthless so why would a living god believe that so firmly if it wasn't something concrete
Sentience don’t seem to hold themselves to there form, even sentience that have been “cross breed” with Corpus tech are still held as sentience, which makes me think they see there “souls” as themselves
You know since ALan V does seem extreamly reluctant with this it's possible he might be setting things up to ally with the tenno in the new war if you think of it it's the oly option he has to survive. he is omitting data to the Sentients so it's possible he's trying to sabotoge the sentients efforts to an extent. My main question is will we get railjack before or during the new war. It would be awesome fighting the sentients in a ship.
Would say we either get Railjack first to fight some sentients. Or (imo the more plausable way) we fight the sentients first, them being already very close to the origin system, and then build the railjack to go take the fight to them.
