I'd be so anxious if I had that much makeup. I would have to make a spreadsheet with the location of each item and update it every month if I got new makeup. Maybe categorise my makeup by brand, and by product and then colour! I would go full OCD!

I do a super huge clean out about twice a year! I do giveaways and I donate to an organization nearby!
I would be so self conscious about what I’m using and NOT using and making sure I don’t waste anything 😅
unless you actually have it, I don’t think you should say ‘going full OCD’ for something like just organising. it makes it seem like a quirky thing instead of the serious issue it can be.

Unfortunately it’s going all in the bin if she don’t give it to others or use a lot on her models and all
None of this is envy worthy or impressive once you realize that it’s all likely expired or soon to be expired.
There’s no way he alone can go through all this in 1 or 2 years, which is the shelf life for almost all makeup.
I agree you need to mark a date when you open a new product.

That’s what I was thinking. It all seems so wasteful. I’ve had max two foundations at once and only bought the second a year after I bought the first. I have one mascara. Like 5 eyeshadows that I will keep until it breaks me out and two blushes. This is insane to me
100% transparency…I’ve been guilty of doing the same I’ve had so much makeup go bad and since the pandemic and mask wearing I’ve stopped wearing makeup completely and have been loving it
I thought most makeup had a shelf life of 10 years unless it's cream based ??

If you have a dollar tree or daiso I highly recommend their drawer organizers. I have one under my sink just for my tiny polish collection and it fits my polish remover and like 5 polishes. I bet you could fit more without the polish remover.

I have a pretty large makeup collection, I'm fortunate enough I bought with my own money and everytime my BF complains about how much makeup I have I always turn around and show him a video like this reminding him that beauty UA-camrs and influencers have to have a whole entire room dedicated to just their makeup. That shuts him down real quick. 🤣

It makes sense that he keeps powder products and lipsticks, since these go beyond their expiration date. But mascaras? no
This I'd be worried about but as long as he hasn't opened the mascara, it should be fine. Once it's open, 3 months and then the trash.

Lipsticks get mold as soon as a year! But never chance it & use it after 2 years! 2 yrs. Chunk it!

Y'all may not believe me, but...I have just about as much makeup as this 🤭 When It's your livelihood and also a passion and a hobby, this is what happens. I've also decluttered and given a lot away. (And I'm not even on any PR lists 🤪) Makeup is such a fascinating world 💄

Question- are all that makeup just for himself orrrr he used them on other persons as well cause they looked like they are personally for him alone based on the tones and shades he showed?? Plus it makes sense he would accumulate a lot of makeup over the years being a beauty influencer and makeup artist as well ....makeup can be addicting as well... cause once a brand release a new product and its good... you feel like you gotta own it as well so your collection keeps growing over time
You also have to think about PR. Brands send so much product to big beauty influencers so that it can feature in videos. With Patrick’s huge media presence, he’s gotta be getting dozens of boxes per month.

I had a big makeup collection once, but then had to throw away soooooo many!!!!! Because it was expired and so much money wasted thrown to the trash and makeup is not cheap!!!!! I mean high end makeup, so I stopped being bougie 🤑 😂... I only have one (big makeup bag) and I refuse to buy anymore makeup til I "need" it and im running low on foundation or maybe a lip stain. Im not rich so i can't afford and refuse to throw away hundreds of dollars of expired un used makeup.
In this case looks more like thousands of dollars. I hope he lets his entire team go in there and say ok everyone grab a something unused/ unopened before it expires.
Overall: no hate at all , I love 😍🤩his makeup collection but I hope he does give ALOT of it away instead of throwing it away and let it expire.
I have recently started buying alot of costly makeup ,I think the costliest foundation I got is of Givenchy and I'm already worried to use them before there expiry date ,so the bottom-line is I stopped buying too much makeup as I wouldn't like the fact I can't use them before it expires and wastage of money,I think I'll be like this even if I get filthy rich,and I don't wear face makeup all the time so this is me

I have many expired items ill never use. I sometimes used them, sometimes they're just bought because they're beautiful or iconic or whatever...the point is: im just a waitress. I can scarcely imagine what I'd get my little fingers on if I were in the industry.

Talk about product placement. If you ask me, the man is more a brand owner than an influencer. He can't do 30 seconds without shoving his brand into your face. The end would have been better if he just waved goodbye and let the door open instead of shutting the door in front of the camera. It's like, man, you really can't pretend you're a likeable person.

I like to have everything around me … I’m constantly grabbing for something different. And it feels like it would be exhausting getting up for a different pallet or pencil?
