The water wheel gives the organ power to run. The book on treehouse living is "authored" by the director of the original film. The daughter also had a book about members of SEA. They have lots of Easter Eggs in the tree.
WOW!!!!! Just so nice to see, hear and have that positivity! It makes me know that I am important and caring! I am 58 years old and take care of my mom with dementia all the time. And I get really down. But! Every time you talk to me (US! 🥰) It does make me feel better and more positive! Sometimes I re watch that section! I get (Justin Scarred term) Sweaty Eyes! Happy sweaty eyes; because I do know...I am important and loved!!! Thank you Chris! and the whole PPP community! Love and Oneness!!!
Hi Chris. Thank you for showing us the renovated Tree House! Because of our age and knees, we couldn’t climb the stairs to see it. The Tree House is definitely amazing! We loved it! And seeing Adam, Liz, and Giggles, was special too! ❤❤❤
I love your message of support in your videos to your viewers. It's much needed for many nowadays and it shows empathy and class. But that reptile joke not so much! 😂
I kid you not, I was just watching your Secrets Revealed video from Disney World and thinking to myself… “He should do one for Disneyland.” 😂 What perfect timing!
🥰 I was hoping to see the Swiss family Robinson treehouse! I was so excited to learn that they were bringing it back! I also loved when it was Tarzan. But missed Swiss family!! Wow the DETAILS!! They did a beautiful job as only Disney can do! Hopefully someday I will be able to get back to Disneyland. ✨THANK YOU ✨ ( deep breaths ♥️)😊
From one Christopher to another, I've watched you for a couple years now and love your "Dad" jokes. P.S. You still haven't offered Provost Park Boxer shorts. I want a pair.🤣🤣😇
Hey Chris my family and I toured the tree house recently on our trip and it was amazing. I have injured knees and took it slow and the railings helped. They truly did a great job on it.
By that method, aren't most movies disowned by PEETA? I mean, there are cartoons about a duck and a rabbit hurting each other. Also that Swisspolka cover is amazing
I'm pretty sure it's more about how humans are depicted treating animals rather than animals treating each other but who knows? PETA is pretty much the BuzzFeed of the of animal ethics world so I would take what they say pretty lightly.
I remember seeing this as a kid when I was about 8 during my first time here. This was back when you had ride tickets, so I had to use up the ones for less exciting attractions. I saw this with my dad. I had no idea who SFR were. But now it reminds me of a happy family trip and especially with my dad who passed about 20 years ago.
I love that Chris thought that Jane the ostrich sounds like a velociraptor, when they used ostrich sounds for one of the dinosaurs (the Dilophosaurus) in Jurassic Park 😂
I’m sorry guys but unfortunately it is not called The Swiss Family Treehouse but it is the Adventureland Treehouse inspired by The Swiss Family Robinson book. There is The Swiss Family Robinson book is in one of the rooms.
Definitely different than the Swiss family Robinson treehouse that was there before Tarzan but still cool. Still love those puns and thank you for those uplifting messages.
Tarzan treehouse was nice, but it's good to see they put back the treehouse how it originally was. I admit I was disappointed when they did change from Swiss Family to Tarzan, but kept things fresh.
I’m so glad they changed it back to the Swiss family Robinson treehouse, I don’t think I ever went in while it was Tarzan‘s treehouse, and I love the movie I have a copy on DVD
So actually this is the Advetureland Treehouse, which while inspired by the Swiss Family Robinson, is not the same family or story. This is a new family that has move into the treehouse, built their own home and are off on an adventure in the Jungle. While they are away they have opened up their dwelling to visitors. But again, sadly, it is not the Swiss Family Robinson living there. °o°
@@papagenji9418 * shrugs in Spanish * At least this way we got references to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, because more of those are always welcome! °o°
The children of today probably have no idea of what Swiss Family Robinson is.They never have seen the movie. Disney needs to make a new movie for better understanding of the history of the Treehouse 🫶
The original tree that inspired this Disneyland tree still exists and you can go visit it for free (it's not far from Disneyland). It's a Moreton Bay Fig tree (ficus macrophylla), also known as the Australian banyan tree. It was planted sometime before 1876 by Anaheim nurseryman Timothy Carroll. He imported the tree from Australia. It's located at 400 N. West St. Anaheim, Ca. I just finished taking pictures of it using the Disney family's original 1909 (patent date) Brownie Box camera. I take pictures using the historic camera of important Disney locations across the US. The tree was studied by Disney Imagineers at Walt Disney's request. I was told they even took plaster castings of the protruding tree roots from the original tree.
I've been watching other videos on this and it's so awesome to see some old school Disney coming back. I thought Disney did such an excellent job with putting this together. The organ room looks really cute and I can't wait to see it. Going to be back in Disneyland next year in March to see my sister perform.
I love the new tree house. It looks beautiful and with great Easter Eggs. I do miss the Tarzan Tree House. I really liked the music and story of the old Tarzan Tree House. But the new Swiss Family Robinson is great---maybe something else in Adventureland could be Tarzan?
YEEAAHHHH They put an attraction back to its original thyme, the tree was originally The Swiss Family Robinson Tree House with a slight change to modernizing done to it I have always called it The Swiss Family Robinson Tree House even after they ruined it by re-thyming it as Tarzan's Treehouse so glad Disney is returning it to the Swiss Family Robinson's Treehouse
They made Player Violin in 1940s with celluloid wheels and rosin instead of bow hairs. See San sylmar museum in pacoima CA for an operating example. MERLE NORMAN Collection. 9:36
I thought her name was Daphne but you’re calling her Natalie. Im so confused. Either way thanks for taking us into the newly revamped tree house. I remember my sons being traumatized by the tiger/leapard whatever in the tarzan version.
Did they get rid of the rope suspension bridge? I remember when I was a kid people swinging it like crazy and scared the thing was gonna break and I was gonna fall to my death.
Ok Chris, I got one based on something you said. What do you call a lizard who has difficulties in the bedroom? A lizard that has a reptile dysfunction. 😂😂😂
Hi Chris, just wondering, do you think it's better than the original Swiss Family treehouse? Ya, I remember how they rode those ostriches and had that tiger in a pit. Poor things, I felt bad for them. Also, did Amanda ever get her Rolex watch? 🙂
Thanks so much Chris for the tour. If I can be just a bit critical - I wish the animatronic animals were a bit more impressive. There's not a lot of nuance going on there either in the gestures or the timings. And the totally static reptiles disappoint a little too. I LOVE the re-theming don't get me wrong. But doesn't seem like they hit the high water mark I expect from Disney animatronics.
The Attraction looks really nice! The Swiss Family Robinson Tree, Epcot's Moana Water area and The Addition of The Hatbox Ghost at WDW Haunted Mansion are the ONLY good things Disney did so far. :)
I've seen the swiss family robinson's movie and it is Shocking some of the things they put the animals through on that movie. The entire time I was watching the film. I was thinking there is no way they could have filmed this nowadays.
In the book the Swiss Family Robinson killed every animal they came across within the first two chapters. I stopped reading it. I don't remember them abusing animals in the movie. I've seen that a ton of times. I would have turned it off if they were abusing animals. They did use the baby elephant to move things around the area. They were on a ship. The ship sank.
I'm surprised Disney invested so much in this because of the accessibility issues. Cool to recapture it, since it is an old attraction, but I think they could have used that space for something else.

Bow of the boat bench looks like a great place for a nap.
The bells were a warning system to let them know if predators were in the vicinity. Later to protect them from the pirates.

At the top of the tree, there's an amazing overlook toward Rivers of America.
Tarzan treehouse was nice, but it's good to see they put back the treehouse how it originally was. I admit I was disappointed when they did change from Swiss Family to Tarzan, but kept things fresh.

that’s bizarrely complicated lol. Disney should’ve just shrugged and made it the Swiss Family Robinson’s home.

I was so happy I got to see you the day you filmed this next to the treehouse. Got to take a photo with you and Adam! It made my whole day!
Nice video! The treehouse looks much better than what I expected. BTW, Adam's friend is Daphne, not Natalie.

I see alot of air plants also known as Tillandsia
what do you call 3 Toucans? a six pack..

In mother’s room, they power the organ with the water wheel. It took them a long time to salvage the organ from the ship.
Thanks for the full tour! (Reptile Dysfunction 😂 Reptile.)
