Catholic Leader in Sudan and South Sudan

The Sudan and South Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference has expressed deep concern over the tragic loss of innocent lives in Sudan.
His Eminence Cardinal Stephen Ameyu Martin, speaking at a press briefing today, described the killings as a “senseless loss” that the Church unequivocally condemns. “Such violence, rooted in hatred and oppression, has no place among us,” he stated, calling for peace and unity in the face of these atrocities.
