ABOUT CHOO CHOO CHARLES
Navigate an open-world island in an old train, upgrade it over time, and use it to fight an evil spider train named Charles.
One thing that I really appreciate about Fooster that not a lot of other UA-camrs put much thought into is the music. The little moody soundtracks he puts in while he’s playing. It brings the whole experience together.

Man this game really captures that heavy feeling of dread when you're separated from your train even worse when you're in an open field, completely unnerving.
That's me with my bike playing Days Gone. I have to make sure my bike is hidden and I can get to it quickly to get out of dodge if I need to.

I really enjoyed the way it was done in this. The slow musical build up which gives you the impression Charles is close and it slowly builds from there until it dials up to an 11

I feel like just in these couple of minutes, we’ve learned quite a bit about Charles’ cunning nature and even his sadistic side.
Like he’s been able to figure out Fooster’s location just by tracking him somehow or even memorizing what his train looks like (or at least the color). And he knows that by “leaving” the area for just a couple seconds, there’s a chance that the player will think he’s left for good and will emerge from their hiding spot (to which Charles can come in at the last second and initiate the chase)
And the fact that whenever Charles in the area, even if he’s just along the horizon, he keeps sounding his whistle like he wants us to know he’s around and he knows where we are, and he never wants us to forget this.
I might be over analyzing this, but this was just super memorable imo

This game was genuinely so incredible. The ambience, the distant, distorted train sounds, the pickle lady lol. And every time you stepped foot off the train and ran through open area picking up scrap I felt immediate anxiety lol. Only thing is I wish Charles would occasionally crawl through parts of the caves just to make it even more nerve-racking. Even if he wasn't set to attack, just seeing him crawl by through some of the boards down there would've added to the suspense. Or a cave chase! Like imagine clearing all the guards, retrieving the third egg, and taking the lift onto a level of narrow cave that Charles chases you through. Regardless, this was so much better than I'd been expecting, and you always make games so enjoyable to watch

I never imagined you would play this game and I'M SO EXCITED!! I'm wholly invested in this. I love how giddy you got over it. The style is almost like cell shaded, or like Bendy styled. But you're right - there is a peculiar style about it and it's really neat.
All the new games focus on the look all about graficks so the games often suffer or lose some potential or something so short normal looking games like this even though its horror makes it great the games try to become like real life where is the fun in that and also many people cant afford the pc to run super advanced games like that so games like this ❤️

I think the old man (Eugune) is actually an alien with that long neck, solid black eyes and yes communicates through telepathy.

Love it and thank you for taking time to play this. I can't play it myself ( don't have steam) but so happy to see someone's opinion I respect play this
Mr. Warren doesn't seem like a bad guy, they found eggs, they destroyed them, Charles used the eggs power while they were being destroyed to grow larger and become more blood thirsty. Warren is stopping people from destroying them because he wants to stop Charles from going full kill and murdering everyone on the island. Hell, he even started evacuating all the people he could. Also about the "skeletons in his closet" thing, people die working in mines all the time, just because workplace accidents happen doesn't mean he's a bad guy.
This game is awesome, love the feeling of dread everytime u leave the safety of your train behind & venture out into the open.

The art style feels kinda like a less stylized, more photo-realistic version of Bendy and the Ink Machine.

Fooster, when Charles attacks it'd be better to keep moving while attacking, since after sufficient damage he will retreat, and the more you damage him the longer it takes for him to heal, and he will only come back out when hes fully healed
They took the concept of Blaine the Monorail and turned it into a video game. Neat
