The only beef I have with this team is that instructor dori’s lamp steals hyperblooms, which lowers Sethos damage, to the point that you might as well build full em on field dori to take advantage of nahida’s em boost as well. You can get around this by using someone like instructor Barbara, but then you’d lose electro resonance (probably not a problem if your Sethos has enough ER) I’ve been experimenting with diona c6 too but she can’t trigger instructors since nahida consumes so much hydro diona cannot freeze anything.
All true, but there's a counterargument to that, too: - You can place Dori's lamp away from the enemy - You can alternate between their uptimes for consistent hyperbloom damage (Dori being 12s, Sethos being 8s during his burst) Alternatively Instructor set Yae Miko(?), Kujou Sara
@@t3trix75 as a counter to your counter, dori’s c2 fires electro from the connected character’s position every time the lamp heals someone, which can trigger hyperblooms. The alternating uptime idea is interesting though, ill have to test it out
@@t3trix75 so I ran a few tests, the dori EQ - nahida EQ - yelan EQ - dori E - Sethos EQ NA results in dori having the lamp active for around half of sethos uptime (using yelan because i don’t have Furina, and using dori immediately could reduce fanfare) the rotation is also longer than usual since I also have to use dori skill before Sethos in order to trigger instructor.
@@thirsty1629 While true that her C2 fires electro projectiles, I found them to be largely uninvasive against enemies larger than a Hilichurl. Yelan is a reasonable replacement for Furina and has better synergy with Dori's burst since she can run around with her skill while triggering hyperblooms. I tried out the rotation, it's not bad, but I still prefer Furina here, more consistent hyperblooms/freedom to do Shadowpiercing Shots instead of sticking purely to his Dusk Bolts playstyle. Thank you for your contributions to the discussion.
okay 1 cycle
Sethos and Dori combo with 2 archons? Neat
Neat indeed.
