Thanks so much for the guidance. I just bought mine, a complete newbie to sewing machines! Am a little afraid of using it, but this tutorial certainly helps!
Excellent video on a wonderful machine! I just LOVE my Pfaff Passport 3.0--it's compact yet powerful! I used it to make porch furniture cushions; multiple layers of Sunbrella with no problems! Another great feature is the stainless steel base plate which won't scratch or discolor like plastic or painted ones. The IDT dual feed is amazing! Fabric feeds through so smoothly! This is a definite winner if you want an easy to use, sturdy machine with many stitches and useful features.
This was my first computerized machine, and my main criteria were simple. A needle down button and a thread cutter. The machine I wanted originally was on backorder, so I took this one home. The dual feed is an awesome feature I didn't know I needed, and I can definitely tell the difference when I forget to engage it. Great machine that is a joy to use!
Due to the construction materials used in building the Pfaff Passport, oiling is not necessary. Page 27 in the manual shows how to regularly clean this machine.
hello great video very nice please kindly film how to operate the sewing machine electric foot pedal how it's used to sew please ok? Please kindly reply back ok?thank you very much
all you do is insert the metal plug on the end of the foot control cord into the socket next to the power switch. Insert the power cord (it only goes in ONE way). You regulate the speed of the machine by how much pressure you put on the foot pedal. Also the speed control lever on the arm of the machine is helpful if you don't want the machine to go too fast.
I rarely comment on videos, but this was truly helpful without fluff. I'm excited to buy one of these machines now.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are happy to hear that this video was helpful!
