Translating the dungeon to BOTW makes it feel so different and much more intense. And the banging SS boss music goes perfectly with Thunderblight. Absolutely sick mod!
This video proves that traditional dungeons are very much possible in the BotW engine, so now I'm becoming more and more hopeful for seeing some long new dungeons in the sequel 👀
as you said it man, the ancient beasts dungeon are a fu c'kin' sh it, ecept hyrule castle because it seems more a pursiut than a dungeon but more efficient and competent, and the maz koshia's dungeon from ballad of the champions,nothing more

This mod is the perfect demonstration that classic dungeons would work perfectly with the new formula. And I really liked the new interactive dungeons from BOTW, specially the one from the DLC that is a car engine, but they don’t have the charm the old ones had.
Yeah, BotW's shrines and Divine Beasts and Hyrule Castle were nice as a way to mix things up, but I hope we get some proper dungeons in the sequel. I'd have happily sacrificed some of the shrines in exchange for the Divine Beasts being longer and more complex. And Hyrule Castle would've been amazing if they'd found a way to force you to explore the castle before you can enter the throne room and fight Ganon.
This makes me hope that they bring back Ghirahim in the sequel of BOTW. Imagine how cool that would be, you are in temple within the crater of the volcano, which was able to rise up from the lava due to Calamity Ganon's malice and dark magic. You go inside, and you see a sword that strangely looks like the master sword. You go up to it, only for it to disappear into little diamonds. You hear a laugh behind you and turn around, it's none other than Ghirahim. Being awakened from his deep slumber due to dark forces being stronger than ever before in all of Hyrule's history. Now, he's back for revenge and you know you're in for one hell of a fight. I would imagine that is how the first encounter would go. As for the other encounters, lead that up to your imagination.
Unfortunately it's next to impossible since Nintendo hates bringing back villains that aren't the primary antagonist of a franchise. Especially they're fan favorites and Ghirahim is a big time fan favorite.
@@justinmcqueen7922 like I said before Nintendo hates bringing back villains like him. I used Ghirahim as the first example however Majora is an even better example of Nintendo hating 1 off villains especially since the producer of the Zelda series despises the game of Majora's Mask.

I think it's more that they like to keep the franchise focused on Ganon as the central antagonist, with all other villains (Vaati excepted) being one offs.
This is seriously one of the most amazing mods I've ever seen for Breath of the Wild. The whole Ghirahim battle had me on the edge of my seat the whole fight - something the original game just didn't do for me!
True, the animations are quite unpolished, but the damage input and the ability to endure several weapons were what made the fight so suspenseful for me.
Waikuteru, you literally deserve every single bit of respect hands down for this incredibly authentic feeling Custom DLC. But also respect to Beardbear for playing it.
This is such a great idea, imagine a DLC for BotW (or BotW 2) where you can take on a selection of dungeons from OoT, TP and SS but recreated in the BotW style. It can be explained lore wise as some sort of trial to face the same challenges as your predecessors.

Part of the reason I thought BOTW was boring is simply because no dungeons ( divine beasts don’t count ) the world gets old after a while BOTW could have benefited from some serious dungeons and boss fights
Why does the Moldarach and Koloktos phase 2 theme fit with Thunderblight Ganon's fight? This made the boss feel more intense. Also this mod looks awesome ^^
This is really making me yearn for a version of BotW that has real themed dungeons with unique aesthetics and color schemes, rather than the same hyperblue shrines and brown/gold divine beasts over and over again.
I love the ghirahim fight and the fact that he does switch to his fire sanctuary boss appearance for phase 2. The problem is why doesn't Ghirahim have his own theme?!

The bow that you first get in Skyward Sword looks very similar to the Traveler’s Bow from Breath of the Wild.
They both reference the hero's bow from Twilight Princess.
