One of my fav from the Kiske era.. Kiske was their 2nd singer after Kai. Kai only sings in the Walls of Jericho album (where Chris Jericho got his stage name) and later continued as guitarist before leaving Helloween to formed Gamma Ray. This is their second singer, Michael Kiske, the first one was Kai Hansen, who sang and played guitar at the same time (From 1984-1986), then, they hired Michael and Kai remained as one of the guitar players until 1989, when he left. I recommend you to listen to Dreambound, or Midnight sun, both are Helloween songs, and the singer in those songs is Andi Deris, the third vocalist of the band. Since 2017, Kai and Michael rejoined the band, and now there are seven members! Good reaction, keep these Helloween reactions coming! Cheers from Peru.
Michael Kiske is actually the band's second lead vocalist. Kai Hansen held the position on the the first few releases. And now they're all together with Andi Deris in the band again after all those years, releasing a new album June 18th.
Nice reaction....Helloween definitely took a ton of influence from Iron Maiden but they quickly surpassed them, in my opinion....greatest band of all time...I never, ever tire of Helloween and their later material is infinitely more interesting and exciting than Iron Maiden...
Not Maiden. Dickinson doesn't sing like Kiske. They both use folk melodies byut that is the end of the similarity. BTW, Helloween was influenced by Rainbow, Accept and few other German bands that were in the club scene back in the early 80's.

Helloween are the masters. Ingo was the best drummer. Kai Hansen was the first vocal of helloween, only in the walls of jericho álbum.
