Back again all you beautiful people for a subscriber metal melt. I thought I would mirror up the bar and make it look like a piece of gold to add to the stack as well as some other bits and pieces which I love. Another successful melt And one of my tastiest BigSnackDs I've had for awhile. So sit back enjoy today's video & check out what you've missed on my channel when you get some spare time but most importantly have a happy safe weekend and I'll see you all next Friday😁👋🏻
Yet again another great vid, mate - it's weirdly soothing, in a way, to watch you turn discarded metals into treasure! It's become a kind of routine to kickstart the weekend... 😉👍😎🙏 Boys (well, grown men, judging by the greying of their snouts 🤣) are looking happy and relaxed too at the new digs 😀 Thanks heaps & enjoy the weekend!
I go on binges with this channel and watch old videos 2 and 3 times. I cannot even tell you why other than its just calming. Anyone else watch drain addict or other channels they have found from this channel as well?
Checkout Sreetips, it's very calming. Instead of a melting channel. He refines precious metals back to .999 fine. He goes into great details of the process, so it is quite educational as well.
@Slim Pickins09er I've watched his Gold melting and extracting videos. He has terrible editing and worse microphones. I don't hate the guy but he is like a d student in the UA-cam game
I've seen other UA-camrs who do what you do and people complain your videos are too long in those videos. Me I say you're the most consistent UA-cam smelter. A video every Friday is pretty damn good and I also like how you added the dog clock to show how far a head the viewer can skip to the melting. Cheers.
Every Friday morning, I tell my other half "it's bigstack day" my son and I love sitting down friday night/Saturday morning to watch your latest video!
Loves how Bullion always checked his right after he ate...just in case there was food dropped but was too slow when there was. My dogs love watermelon too
The zinc coins looked fantastic and I even liked the ripply bar for some reason. That was very nice of you to cast some skinny Maple leaves. Long live Canada, or is it spelt bis? Fnar, fnar and chuckle....
You and me both Tony, zinc is such a good metal to work with and very easy and you don’t even need a furnace to do it yourself. zinc always brings out all the details from the moulds and I would love to work with it more but it’s not very readily available unless you buy ingots from eBay but in Australia they don’t sell them any more although I haven’t looked for awhile.
@bigstackD love it. I love it when you go to the scrap yard, and break it down. I feel we discover it together. ❤️ Ingot and Bullion. I like Beer. I love Copper! I love your channel 👍. Thank you 🙂
Another awesome melt, BigStackD! I like that you left one side of the big brass bar un-mirrored. I think it adds a lot of character. I also really loved the fan mail. While it was all really neat stuff, my favourite is the French Bulldog speaker! Thanks for being a continued highlight to my Fridays and thanks for sharing Ingot and Bullion with us! Take care and cheers!
I am a disabled retired cop. I worked in Newtown, CT where the Sandyhook tragedy happened. I watch your videos to help with my PTSD. lol and you showed a key with Newtown on it …. What are the chances…. All good !! Ty for the vids Big Stack !
That brass bar came out and I thought man is it ugly! I hope he doesn't sand it all down and you kept the best part of it so it was perfect. The zinc really comes out well, those were great looking coins. Some great gifts! It's unfortunate that the ring disappeared, It was probably a nice one. Your pups are living a great life, A/C. Hand fed steak and watermelon, pats on the head before their nap! Have a great week!
Thar brass bar looked amazing today. Especially the polished and rough parts being combined. I normally like the totally rough look, but that bar today was a special case.
4:30 Melting brass will not cause the zinc to “burn” or evaporate off. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc where the two are fully soluble in each other and form metallic bonds, so when melted the zinc is still bound to the copper chemically and will not evaporate
What a great start to Friday. I especially liked those old zinc keys. And once again, I'm glad I ate before watching, as that #bigsnackD would've made my mouth water. It's always good to see Bullion and Ingot as well. Thanks and have a great weekend!
@@bigstackD you do the same brother. Is that a little gray I detected in ingot’s beard…he reminds me of my awesome pug Frank who passed away a couple of years ago.
That was an interesting watch, but really cool. 😁😁😁 Nice zinc handcuff keys though. Fan mail was really awesome! 🤙🤙🤙 My favorite drink is Mountain Dew Live Wire, Gatorade Cucumber Lime and Gatorade Glacier Cherry. Both regular. Or some spiced chai tea. 😋😋😋 Big bar looks amazing! 💙💙💙💜💜💜
Ive been watching you for years and honestly, I have no idea what it is but your channel is so captivating. You seem like such a humble man, Keep up the good work!
It would be nice if one time you did some silver and/or gold melt that would be cool. probably difficult to get it in large amounts of course but be interesting to watch
Love the videos. been watching for about a year now. I missed a few fridays thought something looks different. Then realised you moved. I dig the new shed and treasure room. Dont change your format, it works great and its unique. Great to see decent content coming from WA :D P.S. check your ambient background audio ;-)
You are getting closer to that 1 Tonne... will there be a special melt when you reach that? 🤔 Hope we see the new melting area done and the kiln finally being used by then.
I've been watching your videos for a good long while and I love to see you break down all kinds of equipment and material. I am just getting started with melting down aluminum cans and I've got about 12 ingots and 10 Pirate coins so far. I hope that when the snow clears in New England I can try sand casting for the first time. I also recently got a desktop CNC for Christmas to make my own graphite molds so that will be a learning experience in it's self. Question for you; Do you make your own crucibles or source them? I'd love to know how. When I look at your storage shelf, I see a small fortune in vessels. Any tips or resources you recommend for someone starting out in this hobby? You and ArtByAdrock are both great, I hope you guys do more videos together at some point.
Gotta love how other metals take all that time, effort, and scraping of slag....zinc? you just whip out a blow torch and you get some nice clean little trinkets in no time.
Man, I would love to have those old skeleton keys. I used to collect them when I was younger. At one time lived in a house over 150 years old that used skeleton keys in the locks. Some of the other ones have interesting shapes. As usual, I love the videos, stay safe, and please keep making more!
Even though that first bar was ugly when you cleaned it up it became a beauty outstanding video awesome content thank you for sharing this with us six stars brother
Just after watching this until you mentioned the zinc burning off the top layer I thought: Could you not have something like a steel plate covering the crucible to prevent that? Like, make a custom round steel plate from some 5 mm steel with a handle on top to easily lift it off when needed.
the strips of zinc from last week reminded me a little of viking hacksilver which was one of their forms of currency that came in the shape of notched strips of silver with the notches being for merchants to be able to snip off as much of the silver as they were wanting in a transaction.

Been awhile since you've melted some pure silver. Can you do some more sometime soon ? 😎👍
❤👁👁❤️have a blessed weekend.
I like to post your video more often.

I just want you to know as someone who suffers from PTSD and bipolar this channel provides so much calming and enjoyment that is needed. Thank you!

I agree
agree love the meltin, eating, drinking and the dogs part is my fav
i am here for a long time and we finally gonna hit 1Tonn can't wait
I really like these videos but I still watch them on 2x speed
the timer isnt accurate ive found, starts at 15:07 and ends at 16:56
I really enjoy the long videos
Have you ever made a giant key mold? Would be neat.
I was thinking the same, melt a batch of keys into one giant key~
Melting several keys into a single key... where have I heard that before?
Fnaf pizza sim go brrrrrr
The Key of all Keys.
@Tomix then make a giant lock togo with it
A Giant lock with a giant key to secure his shop or containers
this guy never lets ya down, thanks, rob
👊🏻😁
Less than fifty to go: into the home stretch! Expecting something BIG for the “final” melt!
It better be the big orange thing covered in that tarp outside. Or I'll scream, lol.
Maybe a nice gold smelt for a "1 tonne celebration coin" in a sand mold?
has he announced what he's doing once he reaches the goal?
who says theres gonna be a final just add another ton goal lol who know maybe eventually he'll get to 10 tons
@@Finbar-kb7zi that's my point lol
I love fan melts and mail unboxings. Love seeing Zinc melts it catches details so well.
Every Friday morning, I tell my other half "it's bigstack day" my son and I love sitting down friday night/Saturday morning to watch your latest video!
The zinc pours so clean
Your pups always make me smile. I am happy to see them healthy and happy.
best part of my Friday, thanks dude
i love how he casually breaks the keys with one strike like what a flex I would definitely hurt myself trying to do that😂😂
Hella!😂
Loves how Bullion always checked his right after he ate...just in case there was food dropped but was too slow when there was. My dogs love watermelon too
These are the melts I really injoy. Wouldn't have thought some old keys would make such beautiful bits to add to the collection.
I worked at home depot for many years. We probably threw away 150 to 300 keys every week. I wonder what Rob could do with those.
I love all the little zinc things you made. My drink of choice is beer. Stouts are my favorite.
I think zinc is my new favorite pour. Looks really cool when hot, and seems to fill the molds really well. Nice mail.
Melt content = A+ (as usual).
Grass in background of melt = A++
Yessss let's go, I'm sure I can fit this in before the scrap yard run😄👍
That looked tasty, the boys must have loved it as well!
Stayed up past midnight to watch this right when it came out now it's 2 am
The zinc coins looked fantastic and I even liked the ripply bar for some reason. That was very nice of you to cast some skinny Maple leaves. Long live Canada, or is it spelt bis? Fnar, fnar and chuckle....
Right on time, sandman 👍
Love the amount of detail the zinc gives to the coins. jAnother great video. Lucky you with all those goodies sent to you.
Zinc and lead are the most fun to watch melt. It’s so quick.
A very nice collection of loot.
Scan the speaker and cast it !
Enjoy all your adventures, keep it up.
Double Segrams 7 and 7-Up. Great way to relax. I love the 1 Ugly Bar. Looked so cool!!!
Another good one mate. I'm liking the look of the zinc ones.

I've been watching for a long time & those numbers are like the shining hallway. The closer you get the further it seems
I love the vid I am a huge fan Love from Broken hill NSW!!!
Thanks for adding just a little bit of relaxation to a world gone mad. I really mean it brother, thank you.
😅your videos are so cool. I’m up at 4 to watch. Thank you, keep them coming.
I love how clearly you can see the borax melting and binding with the impurities when you add it in this one.
Omg yay. I'm excited because I have my first Forge coming. 😊😊🙏🙏I feel like a kid at Christmas. Lmfao
WOW, #9 today - Good morning from North Bay, Ontario Canada!! 4AM!
It's so satisfying. I love to watch your casting videos
Made me thirsty with that fridge full of drinks.
That first pour came out before polishing looking like the Necronomicon 😆
The zinc coins were beautiful, especially the one with the familiar looking leaf.
Wow nice 👍👍👍
It's nice how the zinc pours out from under the slag and comes out so cleanly, especially on those skulls.
I fantasize about melting keys sometimes. Thanks for keeping me from trapping myself out of the house.
I am a disabled retired cop. I worked in Newtown, CT where the Sandyhook tragedy happened. I watch your videos to help with my PTSD. lol and you showed a key with Newtown on it …. What are the chances…. All good !! Ty for the vids Big Stack !
Erik Bolwin, you are the best!

Zinc turns out perfect
Thar brass bar looked amazing today. Especially the polished and rough parts being combined. I normally like the totally rough look, but that bar today was a special case.
Millions of years from now
Archaeologists will find your little bit of the earth and wonder at your scatterings
That’s brilliant 👍🏻
One could wonder where all those keys lead to, perhaps all the lost 10 mm?
At this point I can't tell which I watch your videos for more, the casting or the boys.
Bro you're still killing it after all this time.
Thank you and that speaker is the best fan mail yet
Cheers Dave. It’s a shame I don’t know who sent me the speaker but it’s awesome for some tunes in the shed👍🏻😁
@bigstackD Casting heck yeah bro!!
Nice coins and the fan mail opening was nice.
your videos ❤❤❤
White Russian, Whiskey or beer, usually Busch Lattes.
Been watching the stack grow for years. Thanks for all the great vids. Cheers

that dog speaker looking thing looks like a good candidate for clay molding
Love ya work mate
Getting steel out is the key lol
Now that I've started melting aluminium I see how much work you put in to these video's. Love them all.
🎶 One Bourbon, One Scotch and one Beer 🎶
What a great start to Friday. I especially liked those old zinc keys. And once again, I'm glad I ate before watching, as that #bigsnackD would've made my mouth water. It's always good to see Bullion and Ingot as well. Thanks and have a great weekend!
I love the brass melts 👍🏻. Have a great weekend!!
thanks again Dave, it’s a bit late now and not much of the weekend left so have an awesome week👍🏻
@@bigstackD you do the same brother. Is that a little gray I detected in ingot’s beard…he reminds me of my awesome pug Frank who passed away a couple of years ago.
Well he’s having his fifth birthday this year but I don’t think it’s too old. Although the grey in his beard will match the bits in mine👍🏻
21:50 didn't realize how beautiful zinc is when poured & casted out
Stack Please more long ones it’s once a week and we wait so long we love 40 min plus ones
I wish everything casted as well as zinc. It gives such fine lines and few voids.
Those zink mold pours were beautiful!
Yes it’s definitely one of the easiest metals to work with and you don’t even need a furnace👍🏻
The dogs are always the best part.
cool fan mails ;)
and that brass bar turned out good ;)
great video ;)
my heart drops every time you throw and catch the crucible
Do the metals melt faster if they are purer?
17:26 that brick slide was CLEAN
That was an interesting watch, but really cool. 😁😁😁 Nice zinc handcuff keys though. Fan mail was really awesome! 🤙🤙🤙 My favorite drink is Mountain Dew Live Wire, Gatorade Cucumber Lime and Gatorade Glacier Cherry. Both regular. Or some spiced chai tea. 😋😋😋 Big bar looks amazing! 💙💙💙💜💜💜
I'm always excited for your uploads
Ive been watching you for years and honestly, I have no idea what it is but your channel is so captivating. You seem like such a humble man, Keep up the good work!

Show, mas parece que o latão ainda precisava de uma temperatura mais alta. Mas ficou top!
Love the mirrored brass. Gorgeous.
It would be nice if one time you did some silver and/or gold melt that would be cool. probably difficult to get it in large amounts of course but be interesting to watch
It’s so awesome when you do the ice melt then smash it with something. Bonus today when that hunk of ice landed in the mold.
Love the videos. been watching for about a year now. I missed a few fridays thought something looks different. Then realised you moved.
I dig the new shed and treasure room. Dont change your format, it works great and its unique.
Great to see decent content coming from WA :D

You are my favorite channel on UA-cam so I’m loving these longer videos.
You are getting closer to that 1 Tonne... will there be a special melt when you reach that? 🤔

That zinc when poured 👌
What’s up brother. Just about to head to bed. But I’ll watch your video first. Then 😴
Gotta love how other metals take all that time, effort, and scraping of slag....zinc? you just whip out a blow torch and you get some nice clean little trinkets in no time.
I liked the zinc melt/pour the best this week. Looked so nice going in and coming out of the molds.
My choice of drink is root beer.
My favorite drinks include tea, coffee, water, tomato juice, beer, and whiskey.

Awesome episode this week. Can't wait for the next one.
Don't drink but love your shows
Awesome stuff!!!! Thank you again!
I WISH I COULD BUY SUCH A NICE ZINC SKULL FROM YOU. AND INGOT AND BULLION STOLE MY HEART. GREETZ OSCAR RIETDIJK FROM THE NETHERLANDS !
Even though that first bar was ugly when you cleaned it up it became a beauty outstanding video awesome content thank you for sharing this with us six stars brother
Vids are awesome! I like watching the treasure chest fill up! Yuengling Flight has been my go to for a lil while now!
