I love the one strap design! I've thought about this since I started making bags and kept trying to figure out why designers didn't pursue the one strap more often!!
Nice tutorial and love your fabric choices. Good ideas for adding pockets and leather strap. And love being able to sew the lining via the pocket!!!!!!
I bought this pattern and I like the overall style. I made two today in ultrasuede and a giant paisley home Dec lining - really pretty and an easy sew. Next time, I'll use wedge gusset cuts instead of the pleats, for more depth and definition. I pulled the bag through the pocket lining and it was very easy, even with heavy lining and fleece behind the ultrasuede. H how cool that your daughter wants that bag. I always love that. 😊 You've sold me a few patterns in the last couple of weeks. 😁 Thanks for the videos!
Question? how would it come out if you didn't put the pleats in the bottom? I am just not a fan of pleats! Thank you for all of your tutorials they are great💖
Wondering why when you sew the front and linings together, you do not sew on the inside. I find it much easier to manage and wondering if you have a reason for the way you do it.?? thanks, enjoy your videos
Could you tell me how wide you cut the Demin in this video, I'm making this pattern using cats for the middle. I think I have it planed out but I just want too make sure. Plus this would be cute to put an embroidey on. Thank you Sue Fawcett
I wanted to ask. I know you pieced fabrics together. Did you add a quarter inch seam allowance when sewing pieces together. Hope the question makes sense.
I wanted to thank you for all of your videos they are so helpful. I also wanted to ask you how did you cut your fabric for this bag I love the way you used the vinyl and the fabric together. I know it isn't part of the pattern but I want to do one like that and I'm not sure about the measurements. Thank you
I don’t remember the measurements either. I know I’d figured out how wide I wanted the middle sections to be with the denim, and from there figured out how much vinyl I needed to sew on each side for it to be wide enough for the pattern piece
Hi Kassiah from Uk here..love your tutorial just a question on this pattern you have combined the denim and the faux in the exterior and just cotto for the interior.. what seams allowance did you use to attached the two fabric.and match up with interior and how did you cut the two different fabric in the exterior, the pattern only shows one fabric in the exterior and one type of fabric in the interior.. bit confuse hehehe..Thanks.. just bought the pattern BTW but just need to ask you first how did you do it..i fancy a combination fabric like yours
The two fabrics on the front is my alteration to the bag, the pattern does not call for it like that. I just sat and figured out the sizes of the panels that I would want and made sure I did it the same on both sides. I don't have a specific method, just sat and played around with it.
great tutorial Siah, its a bigbag !! lol and thats the small one ?? I may do this one, but its a bit big for me even the small size so might reduce it a little bit, I have some nice vinyl I didnt know what I wanted to make but I think this is the one thankyou
You love your job very much, and your style is very beautiful, and it tries to do your work, but I hope Arabic translation and work discussions please love you ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹
Youve done a fabulous job with this tutorial! I just made my first Low Tide for my daughter and she loves it! Thank you, thank you!!!
Glad she is just sewing parallel lines for zipper. It really makes it lay nicer

Good question! I would think it would be fine without

Oh it’s been so long I really don’t know I think I just eyeballed it really!!!
I would love to see how you piece it together
Would love to see you do a tutorial for Carissa’s Moby bag
I'll check it out!
I like the pleats instead of darts. I hate darts. On a pattern that has darts could you do pleats instead?
Sure!

Yes I did 😊
