There are several things in my life that give me joy. None of those joys compare to the joys of the boys running on a beach. They always put a smile on my face and warm my heart.
What a wonderful ancient place to chance upon, and be able to marvel it's place in history, in great beauty and peace and quiet ... by two beautiful humans ❤
the exPAWers, es Galicia amigos.
I am so jealous. Wish I could be there enjoying wonderful Spain in my own van. I am proud of the both of you for your life style, of course and the dogs. God Bless!
We "did Galicia about 2 years ago. We did a complete tour of the coast of Spain and Portugal, right round from San Sebastian to France. It took us 3 months and we did a mixture of wild camping, aires and sites. Galicia was, as you said, amazing. Some terrific coastal places to park up and some brilliantly quiet beaches, with amazing sunsets. Some of the beaches you visit in this vlog looked very familiar. I definitely remember the beaches where it was raining and Sarah couldn't remember their name! Mainly because we can't remember the name either! ;) Another enjoyable vlog. Thank you.
Your drone footage is just stunning! That iron age settlement was like something from an archaeological dig! It's crazy how there are no people around. Thanks for bringing us to such incredible places! The fact that you both appreciate the awesome beauty of the world around you is what makes your channel so great to watch.
I cant tell what joy it brings to me to your show every week! With everything going in the world, I really enjoy your visit here in Spain its like I am on vacation as well. Be careful and safe !
You guys are my favorite animal loving vanlifers it was so cute I have so done the same thing when you played hide-and-seek with your dogs on the beach that totally got me you guys are adorable you love your fur babies I love you for that thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍🐺🐹
You both are so lovely, so much fun watching your clips of your journeys around.👍😊⚘ Thanks so much for all that you put out for us all to enjoy along with you. The entertainment is on top.👍😊💖 so glad I can follow along.💖⚘👍😊
I'd suggest you really take your time in Galicia, there's so much to see and so much to eat and drink (great food and wine) - the waterfall at Ezaro near Finisterre is the only river to enter the sea as a waterfall (so I'm told), the beaches in the north (Atlantic coast near Ferrol and the north Lugo coast around Viveiro) are beautiful, but don't ignore the inland areas, especially the Sil and Miño valleys - and loads more, but you get the idea
A great vid well done. I made a cover tent like construction for my Transit van camper conversion, this fitted over the back doors and gave another room for a shower area changing room etc. The tarpaulin material is easy to sew with a domestic sewing machine and it all folds up quite small when not in use, Velcro is good for the door way opening. I shall try the something out of nothing now, I've got a tin of anchovies, some spaghetti, an onion, some fresh garlic, one red pepper, some smoked cod roe, one small truffle, some olive oil extra virgin, some red and black peppers freshly ground, sea salt and an echelon shallot, I'll see what I can do.
You've done it again. An amazing video. I watched it in 2 parts to last longer, seriously. Just after you showed your second meal, I thought you have to write a cook book with all your lovely looking meals. Galicia looks a bit like Scotland. Take care guys and stay safe. Thomas
Yes! 1:07. Barra Beach. My favorite nudist beach and the largest in Galicia. I live 20 minutes from that beach. I changed New York for Galicia. 👍(Galician beaches have nothing to envy the Caribbean. Well, yes. The water is colder 😁). In what month did you record this?
One of the most beautiful images I've seen since I've been following you, and an impressive edit. If you continue all over the Cantabrian coast you will discover more!
Brilliant video! What stunning locations!! We can't wait to get our van and start exploring these places. Thank you for this. And great looking food too, though we've never used tofu! And the doggies are gorgeous. Just watched this while having our Sunday full English breakfast. So much fun. Thanks
Thank you so much for these latest vlogs, I have walked the Camino Portuguese from Porto to Santiago three times and the last two occasions I walked the coastal route. I certainly agree the scenery is stunning together with the friendly people. I was going to return again but Covid stopped the plans, you are now doing it for me, thanks so much. Safe travels
hi guys, u always find the most stunning locations to stay or just visit, those beaches were amazing and that fort is lovely right on the coast, safe travels guys, stay safe love to all xx
Wondering where this spot is at the end of your video... As you mention - everything; sand on the beach; rocks to explore; a pretty, thinly populated forest... Fascinating. Really nice place. Thank you for your work!
They look similar to some of the beaches on South Coast NSW . They look so natural with out all those night clubs and restaurants. It looks so untouched . A lot of British people love the Beaches in Cornwall and say that they are the best in the world but they haven’t visited North of Spain . They got to remember that there are lots of stunning beaches in this world . So long as we don’t pollute them , they are all beautiful .
I can totally understand why you are lost for words to explain the beauty that you are seeing. I am blown away myself. I admire you both for continuing to experience the wonders of Mother Earth, despite all the madness, and then sharing it with us, so we can remember what is out there and have hope.
No entiendo lo que dicen, xq no ponen subtítulos en español?. Pero los lugares que muestran son hermosos y los pichos son divinos. Que hermosos lugares, saludos desde argentina
Hello, I see that you enjoyed the beaches in "O Morrazo", is a pity that you missed so many places on the way that were so close, like O Cruceiro de Hio, Pontevedra's old town, Combarro ancient fishing village, and all the outstanding places to the south of Vigo, if you enjoyed the Castro of Baroña, (Celtic fortified village) you would be impressed by the 1st century B.C. Celtic castro of "Monte Santa Tegra" many times larger and towering over the Atlantic ocean, the beaches and the beautiful natural Minho Valley. (next time?) SEND YOU NOW AN E_MAIL with places that you would love in ASTURIAS. Have a great one!!!
Thanks.. We may be here in Northern Spain/Portugal for a while if UK go into lockdown, which is looking quite likely! So we haven’t missed these places, we just haven’t seen them yet!! Thanks for all the recommendations 😉
the exPAWers , if you get time , theres a fantastic walk from a village called poncebos, which takes you through a mountain ravine to another village called cainne , it's considered to be one of the best walks in europe , its follows a path thats cut into the rock , sounds a bit scary , but its very safe, might have to put the pooches on a lead, will make great content for your vlog, take the drone 😜, theres also a couple of free park up spots , stay safe guys 🙏🏻❤️
I am still in awe of the views and beauty of my home - Cornwall , like you every day I see something different, I walk my dog for a couple of hours in the morning along the Towans and then onto the sand and it’s heaven . I am still planning a run up to Scotland to drive along the NC 500 .......... keep smiling , love life and cuddle your doggies 😄
Hi guys Really great Vlog today, wonderful camera work, fantastic editing with clips on the beat of the music. Really glad you’re having a fun time. We really look forward to seeing your videos, and a big thank you for that, take care and keep yourself safe 🙏🏻 🙂
Hey Guys and the doggies too. I was looking at Nick and thinking,..well nevermind what I was thinking. haha, I like it when you guys are styling on the beach. Haircuts and styles. Sarah that 1st plunge is the hardest one to do isn't it? One of the reasons I watch your videos is that you guys are always parked in the most beautiful places. I love beaches and it's amazing to see them, with you guys and the boys running around and there's no one else around, well except for the tractor. haha, I really love your videos, thanks for taking the time to share. Hugs all around, you get a hug, and you get a hug, and you ...Love you Stay safe Oh yeah, I bought my rig. I short school bus. I can't wait to get started on the build. yay
Your explores just get better and better. You’ve found so many little hidden gems in Spain and it’s been great being taken along with you. Plus dogs, the woods and beaches - what a winning combination 😀👍🏼 ps: the stickers have arrived and they’re fab, thank you x
In this time of trying, you two are a breath of fresh air, I really can´t thank you enough for showing us, that life is not only for the rich and famous, but to be enjoyed by anyone. Keep it up, and I know one day you will reap the seeds you have spread around the place :-)
Had no idea the North West of Spain was so beautiful..... As you say totally spoilt for choice.. ..beauty overload.... Also having it virtually to yourselves an added bonus.....
Spending some time in Galica, Vigo (the old part of the town) and travelling in the area up to Santago, there is only one verdict and that is: Galicia is a fantastic place!
Absolutely stunning opening 😍 what a beautiful place ❤ I love all the content and information ✌ your vlogs are a total escape for me and the delight you both express in your faces is wonderful. FREEDOM for ever 👍xx
Got to do that top end of Spain . Glad you like you back end kitchen . I've just put a slide out in the back of my build with portable two burner stove and oven that uses canisters . Also putting shower on back door . Stay safe guys .
Fabulous place... always wanted to visit Galicia myself. Your recipe proofs my theory that everything tastes better with rice... the addition of rice was the vital difference is the two dishes made with more or less the same identical ingredients.
So long since we were in Galicia. Our kids were no more than toddlers. What was good was that we were the only foreigners there. All the other visitors were Spanish. The Atlantic is always colder than than the Med. but a stiff upper lip and you'll be fine. Stay safe and keep on trucking.
It's nice, it's cold, it's nice & cold. We've had a very chilly couple weeks in upstate NYS, about 0°C & windy, a dusting of snow one day, sleet yesterday morning, & now froze the last of the vegetable garden & I'm looking out @ bare trees. Put away my summer things & dug out the turtlenecks & sweatsuits. Looking @ the rest of the week it says 10-20°C. Crazy weather now that daylight savings time is ended. Thanks for the lovely beach scenery, made me feel warmer. Glad I just ate because the food looks delicious. Love you both, kiss the boys for me, XXOO
I only have a very small campervan, so I have an awning by Reimo that fits under the tailgate easy and quick to put up and gives loads more room especially useful as I have no standing room in the van
Great video (as always). Pleased you did not edit out the little tractor. Really reminded me of my Spanish holidays. All the best guys, but Charlie and Dizzie are the real stars! Definitely going to visit Galicia.
There are several things in my life that give me joy. None of those joys compare to the joys of the boys running on a beach. They always put a smile on my face and warm my heart.
