Rens selflessness is unmatched in anyone I've ever seen. He is the light in the dark that we all need.I don't think I've ever seen an artist who is so connected to the community and fanbase they've created.
You could do reactions to his 8 chapters, it's very powerful but also has humour. Each one finishes with a Ren track connected to his story, so also 8 new songs to discover.
In his video ONE MILLION SUBSCRIBERS, Ren talked about how the most destructive thing in his life has brought a lot of creativity... I recommend watching this video too...
Yes... his 8 Chapters are a MUST SEE!!!! Its Insane that Anyone Could live thru that... let alone be abke to tell his story with such musical artistry!!!!
It has been said that great music is borne of great suffering. I think Ren represents that. I'm grateful that he found solace in music during the worst of his illness.
I agree with you that Ren is incredibly inspirational & we are blessed to have him, his story & his art to lean on, but I wouldn't wish what Ren went through on my worst enemy. I pray that Ren finds some relief & can lead a somewhat healthy life. 🙏🏾❤ I watched his live twitch stream the other day, when he dropped his new track "Slaughter House" & he was talking about his medical relapse, & how he's trying to come to terms, that he may never be healthy enough to do shows & tour. He was almost in tears & you could see his heartbreaking, because performing brings him the greatest joy in life. I highly recommend you both watch Rens 8 Chapters. Ren narrates these videos and takes you on a 8 year journey of his health struggles, where he's searching for answers & help. Each Chapter is anywhere from 13 to 24 minutes runtime, & that includes one of his older music videos at the end of each video, representing what he was talking about in that chapter. Cheers, and I hope you both enjoy. ✌ P.S- I really hope you also react to his newest release "Slaughter House", the title track of his upcoming album. 👍
That was a beautiful reaction ❤️ You guys are awesome. I get what you're saying about Ren. He has talked about this before. Would he have created Hi Ren without his pain? He understands what comes with the way he inspires others. That in and of itself can be a burden. But it's very important to him. There's something very different about Ren and it's not just because he's talented. If you watch chapter 1, he says something about his purpose. Slaughter House is a banger yet very meaningful. It's so 🔥 and again, very different. Btw, I don't think the acoustic is better. Neither one is better than the other. Just depends on mood. Bis live renditions are so good. Bittersweet Symphony Live version that came out 2 months ago is beautiful.
Even after 18 months of treatment for brain damage and autoimmunity, two months agi he relapsed badly and went offline for 2 months dealung with lyme and counfections again, plus with the ptsd triggered by all those years. He was back on Twitch for Slaughterhouse. Taljs about his health and losing the chance of touring. He was on for almost 3 hours. Shared a lot. Both the 8 Chapters and the livestream are up on Renmakesstuff.
the Acoustic version of this is awesome to you should do it too
There's an Acoustic version of this song which is even better. Ren is the most relateable Artist out there & easily the most versatile.
Ren has a new one out called Slaughter house off his new album coming out
It's 🔥 🔥

The sample is from Trouble So Hard by Vera Hall. It was also sampled by Moby, so that may be where you've heard it from.

It’s like his experiences have happened so they can be used to pass along his art to help so many cope with their struggles and challenges with life.
good shit. he is the most realist dude in the game. independant. i swear every new song i hear i say "this is my favorite". shit's crazy
Love both of you , you have such empathy, and understanding, stay safe ❤

you guys should watch and upload the 8 chapters of his life
Definitely agree with that!
What got to me was his thanking God for his journeys ❤
to me that part sounds like hes saying it to us as well. Giving us his story to have when we need it.
Filmed in Canad while Ren spent almost 2 years in treatment
