  • In this video, I revisit the concept of ordering fast food in Japan, since my previous video at a McDonald's unexpectedly gained a high view count. This time, I'm trying out KFC.
Firstly, I didn't think to differentiate "set" and "pack" in the menu. Instead, they offer a "pack" with two sides accompanying the main dish (no drink included). Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way and ended up paying extra for a drink.
Japanese KFCs are known for making efficient use of vertical space, as land prices in Tokyo can be quite steep. In the branch I visited, orders were taken on the ground floor, while seating was spread across the first and second floors.
Interestingly, I observed that every customer at the eatery was dining alone, resulting in a surprisingly quiet atmosphere. My goal for visiting KFC was to use their eat-in space for a video call with a friend in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Therefore, I had to be considerate of others when making that call.

This is such a sweet video, I like the consideration with the large subtitles and the comments throughout :)
