so i did this and now when i boot up my ps3 even in recovery mode it boots with screen display and it runs about 30 seconds to a minute and shuts itself off
Press and hold the power button until it beeps once to reset the video settings (two beeps total). Turn it on and continue to hold the power button, once it beeps again let go of the power button and it should load up provided you've connected it properly. Also, try to reinstall your firmware by going to the recovery mode if the video reset doesnt work. press and hold the power button until it turns off, then press and hold until the double beep then let go for {recovery mode}

I wouldve fort ud update the hdd from ur pc as creating a new volume actually erases data on it, or is that wat is needed a blank hdd?
Do I lose all my data by doing this method ? If I understand correctly I just have to create a partition on the hard disk of my playstation?

Can you explain sir what have you done exactly in the Disk Manager because there is no seem to have selected something after the right click in 3:28.
right click inside the hdd then select new simple then keep clicking next

Just umplug the disk rewritable or whatever from pc and plug both cables into your ps3 harddrive

No The CFW sits in the system, it does not matter if you format the HDD or do a system restore, the CFW does not disappear
