I was able to score a free ticket to SeaWorld Orlando in July and went for the first time in my life. I'll be honest, when I went I wanted to hate it. After all the controversy and knowing little about the park beyond documentaries, I truly wanted to hate it. I ended up loving the park and got a season pack a couple of weeks ago. It beats out Universals Four and we don't talk about Disney coasters, lol. You can't fault Sea World for several recent ride closures. They decided the past 5 months they would do complete repaint on two of their roller coasters, they are doing retracking on Journey to Atlantis, and refurbishing several other areas. Most of these closures don't normally happen as repaint happen maybe once a decade. I appreciate they are keeping the park updated and nice. Everything will be open come spring break time and summer season. Alot of other parks do the same thing around the country and most aren't open year round. Wow, this is a VERY helpful video! I'm a Florida resident but we could really afford vacations when I was a kid, and as an adult I've never gotten the chance to go. My husband and I wanted to go for our anniversary last year when we thought the pandemic was nearing its end - but then the Delta variant got bad. After watching this, I think we should definitely go for it this year! If you happen to see my comment anytime soon, can you tell me if you think it's realistic to get through the whole park in a day with an almost 2 year old? I'm leaning towards leaving him with the grandparents and taking him next year when he'll be tall enough to ride more rides in Sesame Street land. But he does love animals, so I'm wondering if he could handle it.

Hi! Im going to sea world on december 2. I dont know exactly what to wear to the park and if i get wet on manta roller. Is cold already on the day? Im from Puerto Rico
Morning Mr FB, scouring through vids looking to book up a seaworld/busch/aquatica maybe throw in a hhn, for my eldest and wife, and perhaps myself and my youngest hit a disneys not so scary for one night. Looking for it to be a September vacation, either this year or next, probably next. do you or anyone else know of transportation options for busch gardens from seaworld or in and around that area as we are looking to stay close-ish to seaworld, and we generally use lyft, ubbr, or local transport options and never hire a car. We would love to find out if busch do any transportation from that area to and from the park please. 👍🏽🇺🇸🏴
Thank you for this! We're going for the first time and your tour and review has been really helpful! I wanted to ask - do guests with belt bags have to put their bags in a locker, or could one ride still wearing theirs?
Sea World is always a must do for me, great coasters, animal interactions and I found the quality/variety of food to be of a very good standard. Went at Christmas and was gutted to see Kraken was closed for the paint job, that said, Mako was immense. Infinity falls is the wettest water ride I’ve ever been on! Great video again JJ 👍🏻.
Great video. I must admit to being slightly disappointed with the operations on our visit last week. Rides were closed for maintenance (Manta and Journey to Atlantis) but there was no mention of this on the app/ website (we always check before visiting). Manta is now back operating thankfully. Ride dispatch and locker reliability (in terms of paying with cash or card) was poor. The Sky tower remains closed. Aquatica was also noticiably understaffed leading to accesible areas of the wave pool being halved in size.
Sorry to hear that! I’m surprised Manta was closed down again, it was out for a couple weeks in November. Not good. Hopefully they’ll improve with this sort of stuff this year. Looking forward to your next series of vlogs 😁!
@@TheFrugalBrit I remember seeing that it was down and drained of the water late last year. Somebody told us that they have only been operating it at weekends 🤔 Thank you 👍
Is the stadium shows and roller coasters included inside the all day package do you know? Or do you pay for those separately when you get to the theme park?
Sea World is one of my favorite parks, and I'm a Platinum pass holder. This is an incredibly well-made video! Such a thorough review. I also really appreciate the historical overview included in the park. Amazing job!
I thought they close journal to Atlantic because some person recorded it and it was close is it still closed? Wow they changed the old Shamu ride to the Sesame Street park everything changed:(
@@Graphics_Card sorry that was two years ago that happened they close journal to Atlantic. In the old days in sea world they have the shamu ride and changed it into Sesame Street park
Yes it’s better price wise than Disney. Yea like some people in the comment section are posting, they keep their animals in captivity, I don’t care for the shows, but I wouldn’t let that discourage you from enjoying at least the rides.
If you buy your tickets in the UK you can upgrade to annual pass even cheaper ! Last time a was in seaworld was before C19 and it felt a bit rundown and cheap looking with the carnival games. Going this year as part of my ticket package and NOT touching Disney !
My family was there on Saturday, February 26, 2022 and no, it is not worth it! Start out with $30 to park and $129 ticket price, the crowds were horrible, food was expensive ($75 for 3 cheeseburgers) and the park was dirty with overflowing trash everywhere. Sad to say, Disney would be a better value for the price!
SeaWorld is my favorite park to visit because it is easy. Easy to walk through, rides for all ages, food is decent and you can buy an all-you-can-eat pass. It is very convenient geographically. Employees could be trained better regarding customer service. For example... They become Nazi's if you don't buy a locker before getting on some of the rides. Also, restaurant hours are inconvenient and do not open until the afternoon.
We absolutely loved seaworld in 2015. We’d love to go again in September, and actually get free tickets because we’re going to discovery cove. There’s just too much to fit in to 2 weeks between discovery cove, Disney and Universal. So unfortunately, we won’t get a chance. I would always recommend a full day for anyone thinking of going though.
@@TheFrugalBrit have you been to discovery cove before? We can’t wait, 2 days at each Disney park, 3 at Universal, 1 day shopping between the outlets and Disney Springs and a day at discovery cove. It just leaves no scope for seaworld, as much as we love the park.
I love your videos, I have been to Florida over 5 times from London & I wish I had found your videos sooner. But on this particular video I am disappointed you didn’t mention the suffering of the animals especially since the documentary ‘blackfish’ I personally would not promote this park. There are plenty of other things to promote for anyone visiting Orlando.
A very informative video,i really like Seaworld. Personally,i go for the animals, the orcas are my favourite. Their rollercoasters are all fun & its definitely a lot more chilled than disney & universal. I know what you mean about closed attractions,i went for back to back trips in 2016 & 2017 & sky tower was closed both times.
I live only a few miles from the Original park in San Diego, so I’ve always been a bit more partial to this park than my own hometown park as we’ve always had far fewer flashy attractions, not really getting anything of a “thrill” ride until the mid-2000’s (Shipwreck Rapids) and generally got MUCH weaker clones of superior Orlando rides (our version of Manta is a truly sad and pathetic over glorified kiddie coaster and our version of Journey to Atlantis is notably weaker)…Still, it’s not Quite a “must-see”, but worth a day if you’re there for ten days or more…Thrill ride fans will find about a three quarter day, but they Do have frequent very good food festivals
At least they add attractions… It takes Disney eight years to add two rides! Literally, look at how long it has taken them with Tron, and I heard that there is a miracle that guardians will finally be running in a few months or so! We cannot use the pandemic as an excuse, Universal built the worlds greatest roller coaster from scratch with velocity coaster! During a pandemic there is less traffic, so it should’ve been the perfect time to work on this type of thing! Disney will not release new attractions unless it is one at a time, and when they want to increase their ticket sales and only then! I knew they would never release guardians in Tron the same year like they promised! Instead they wasted all that time on that stupid thing in the middle of Epcot shooting water… Sorry, not for me. And let’s not forget how they raced all their prices, with really nothing new to add! And now they have this stupid ride fast pass thing that you have to pay for per ride… Even the bracelets are no longer free for people that are staying at their resorts! Disney made so much money during the pandemic with their streaming platform, shame on them! They are all about money, I can’t wait for Universal to finish epic universe… Continue to grow, and eventually take away many many of their visitors at Disney! Even if it eventually becomes a 50-50 split regarding guest, Disney will be screwed! My prediction is Disney will pretty soon focus on ages three through 12 especially! I don’t think they will care about thrill rides, the best for rides are nowhere near Disney… Lol. Seaworld, Busch Gardens and Universal have that all under control.
It’s Disney world. It’s the happiest place on earth though.Sea world is no where near as good as Disney. It’s got loads of thrill rides to!I can name many thrill rides if you’d like me to name them
Well, to help your concerns, SeaWorld has ended it’s orca breeding program. The current orca generation is the last at SeaWorld, meaning once they pass, SeaWorld will have to do something else with that area. At the moment it’s just a learning area for Orcas
Seeing all these positive comments about seaworld shocks and saddens me. PLEASE do your research when it comes to marine animals in captivity. Yes the video is informative and good but NO ONE should be using these animals as entertainment. Just look at the Orca fin, definitely should be straight...
Happy! Let's all visit some marine mammals kept in prison-like conditions, all with atrophied dorsals, some of whom have long histories of killing their trainers! Happy!
Really informative video as always, your content is always so comprehensive! I was really shocked to see the dolphin nursery pool, I can’t believe in this day & age they’re still breeding in captivity. I would never go because of the obvious animal cruelty, which is a real shame as the theme park looks amazing.
Dont have enough for a full day stay at the park? Excuse you, what?... I stayed a full day and couldnt see all the shows and ride all the attractions! And mind you, it wasnt even crowded!

Is the stadium shows and roller coasters included inside the all day package do you know? Or do you pay for those separately when you get to the theme park?
You get them included with a normal ticket 😁
Ya its a good deal. All included except for some close up animal encounters you can pay for
excellent content!
Sea World is one of my favorite parks, and I'm a Platinum pass holder. This is an incredibly well-made video! Such a thorough review. I also really appreciate the historical overview included in the park. Amazing job!
Thank you Theo, always feels good to get good feedback from a pass holder 😁👍
You’re supporting these ppl? Wow smh.
@@rosebanx00 ikr SeaWorld is a cruel company. Legit animal abusers
@@rosebanx00 what about them?
@@rosebanx00ok and?
Is there a fast pass options for seaworld?
Yeah it’s called quick queue 👍
I love it
Do they allow strollers into the stadium for shows?
You should do a review of discovery cove! That would be good :)
I’ve already finished filming it, might do that one next 👍👍
@@TheFrugalBrit I am looking to go, so would be really helpful! When do you think it will be out please?
@@henrystephens3366 stil debating which vid to do next but currently leaning towards posting in two weeks 👍
@@TheFrugalBrit ok I’ll watch out for it! Did you enjoy it?
I thought it was incredible, but I was on my own so not quite the same. The value I got on the ticket was ridiculous.
I thought they close journal to Atlantic because some person recorded it and it was close is it still closed? Wow they changed the old Shamu ride to the Sesame Street park everything changed:(
Wait what
@@Graphics_Card sorry that was two years ago that happened they close journal to Atlantic. In the old days in sea world they have the shamu ride and changed it into Sesame Street park
@@Pinky20971 just went to their website not too long ago looking up the closures and it doesn’t look like anything is closed, so thx for the info
@@Graphics_Card it was closed like two years ago it was on a guy’s channel
@@Graphics_Card you don’t know the channel name and you don’t know what I’m talking about
So how many times do you visit the park while not living in the US?
This year, probably 3-5 visits.
@@TheFrugalBrit Nice 😃
I am going there soon
Hope you have an awesome trip! 😁👍
I been there so much and it's not boring
I’m here in Orlando now and basically come to Florida every year but always bypass Seaworld. Is it really worth going?
Nope, absolutely not. It’s animal abuse
Yes it’s better price wise than Disney. Yea like some people in the comment section are posting, they keep their animals in captivity, I don’t care for the shows, but I wouldn’t let that discourage you from enjoying at least the rides.
I went 2 years ago and had a great time
The top of dolphin cove you have to pay to do the feeding now. You can't just stand and watch
😮
Does anyone know how much admission is for 4 adults?
If you buy your tickets in the UK you can upgrade to annual pass even cheaper !
Last time a was in seaworld was before C19 and it felt a bit rundown and cheap looking with the carnival games. Going this year as part of my ticket package and NOT touching Disney !
That's really interesting, I wasn't aware you could do that😁👍
Is it worth it to take a 5 year old here, ie no roller coasters?
Yeah it’s a very versatile park, but obviously they won’t be able to do the roller coasters.
Most likely not much for the roller coasters as he or she has to be a certain height.
Sorry to hear that, sounds like a rough day!
@@TheFrugalBritis it like this in 2024?
Thanks 🎉
You're welcome 😊
Can you do one about Disney world
Yeah I’ve got some Disney videos in the works 👍

SeaWorld is my favorite park to visit because it is easy. Easy to walk through, rides for all ages, food is decent and you can buy an all-you-can-eat pass. It is very convenient geographically. Employees could be trained better regarding customer service. For example... They become Nazi's if you don't buy a locker before getting on some of the rides. Also, restaurant hours are inconvenient and do not open until the afternoon.
In its own way its a very fun park
these lockers man
😂
The tracks on Krakken looking a bit rusty!
Are you allowed to give those tickets to someone else? We are going to Seaworld in May, we will take them!!🤣🤣
👍👍 I’m planning a SeaWorld/Discovery Cove trip with the family on 2023 😁
@@haileysmith8961 I wish I could. Hate seeing them going to waste.
Porque este lugar sigue funcionando?
I love your videos….
Cheers mate! Yeah the situation with closed attractions seems to be getting worse. Thanks for watching 👍
Went yesterday and wasnt worth it. The rides were closed majority of the day. Was so pissed
Wait what 😬
Hoping that doesn’t happen I’m headed there on aug 8
Sea world shows good However when I went 3 of the good rides were broken
Thanks
13:20 how long is the orca show?
Around 20 minutes 👍
Just watched the documentary, black fish, it'll change your mind about these places.
I going there in 2 days
Hope you have an awesome time!
How was it?
Good knowledge as always. I’ve never been to San Diego but the Mrs says the SeaWorld there is better. Would love to visit.
The orlando park is really fun
I bet it's still better then the one in San Antonio Texas
Yeah WDW has lost a lot of fans over the past two years.
It’s Disney world. It’s the happiest place on earth though.Sea world is no where near as good as Disney. It’s got loads of thrill rides to!I can name many thrill rides if you’d like me to name them
Lol ya the added alot of rides
My heart just broke when I saw that orca’s collapsed dorsal fin. It just isn’t right. I wanted to try the rides but I cannot support this place.
What if I’m not there to see the shows?
Happy! Let's all visit some marine mammals kept in prison-like conditions, all with atrophied dorsals, some of whom have long histories of killing their trainers! Happy!
I love the accent the flugel Brit
San Diego❤️
Really informative video as always, your content is always so comprehensive! I was really shocked to see the dolphin nursery pool, I can’t believe in this day & age they’re still breeding in captivity. I would never go because of the obvious animal cruelty, which is a real shame as the theme park looks amazing.
Thank you for that! Yeah my wife feels uncomfortable visiting after watching the documentary.
Still drinking CNNs Koolaid?
I have a brother who works at SeaWorld Orlando
Dont have enough for a full day stay at the park? Excuse you, what?... I stayed a full day and couldnt see all the shows and ride all the attractions! And mind you, it wasnt even crowded!
Volume is too low on this video
Thanks for the feedback, do you mean the narration is too low? Or both music and narration?
@@TheFrugalBrit both. I had to reach for the remote and turn it up
Sounds exactly like the last video I watched. Nearly word-for-word. 🤔
Which video?
My famalli or going in 2 days
Amazing! Hope you have the best time 😀
I think that SeaWorld should switch to Pepsi since the other theme parks serve Coke.
