I shave my entire face and forehead against the grain. I get no ingrowns on face or neck. Or my head. Filipino here. If your black , perhaps, if its on the neck, permanent laser hair removal would be 100 a blessing in many ways.

My husband keeps my pubic hair low with hair trimmers, and I don't shave that area. I have like 3 or 4 ingrown hairs under the skin and the area is swollen and it hurts.

Seems to relief the pain and swelling on back of my neck. Thank you. Are you sure the ingrown will come out on its own? Or do I need to do more things and how about scaring
In my experience using aloe vera by itself to treat ingrowns - yes it typically does leave a scar
I’m assuming we just let it air dry out over night? Also, does the ingrown hair come out in a couple days just wondering what occurs during the healing process. I’m trying it tonight, as I have the most painful ingrown 😵💫

What happens to ingrown hairs if they're are not tweezed? Do they dissolve?? How do they actually go away?
Typically, an ingrown hair is caused by trimming a hair too closely so that it curls into the follicle which produces a bump. The active ingredient in aspirin the doctor mentioned in the video (salicylate) causes the hair to grow straight and not remain curled in the follicle. The inflammation (redness and swelling) from the ingrown hair will subside once the hair grows out of the follicle.
They will become like a pimple and the hair will emerge when it pops.
Would this help clear up the dark blemish marks from years of tweezing and picking??

Love this advice for active ingrown's. To prevent, don't wear tight clothing on waxed areas - thankfully flowy and baggy pants are back in! - also loofah or scrub once or twice a week, don't over do it, and keep skin from getting hard on the surface by moisturizing with something natural like coconut oil. Also use pure non alcoholized aloe gel anytime especially right after waxing, you can add a drop or two of tea tree oil to this to prevent infection as well. I find this is beneficial over the first couple days after waxing. Then start moisturizing with coconut oil or an azulene oil anything safe near the lady bits.
NOOOOOO ! coconut oil is highly comedogenic and pore clogging

THANKYOU , Just came from the doctor Raz channel where he shoved 5 inch long tweezers into a fake ingrown hair and aggressively fart to get it out,😂 was praying that wasn’t my only option

Great advice I do have some follow-up questions though you said to leave it on overnight if ingrown hairs are in my bikini line do you suggest putting a Band-Aid over the cream or just putting it on there and letting what rubs off rub off?
Don’t do any of that! Just wash gently with head and shoulders shampoo and in less than 2 days the swelling and pain go away and the hair comes out on its own. And old 80s trick my mom taught me. Hope this helps

Nope it won’t just wash it with head and shoulders shampoo and in 2 days or less the swelling and everything else is gone. Mom taught me this back in the early 80s and it is guaranteed to work however never put it on an open wound.

I've used this aspirin and aloe mask for my face when break outs start which I came to of my own intuitive thought. It's awesome! Works so well. I use just enough to make a paste. It's hard to say the specific amount. Depends how many aspirins used and how big an area your treating. Just think paste not liquid.
Aspirin is not available in India at all. It's banned. Then what should I use any other substitute?
