There's a suggested $20 entrance fee (about 25,000 francs, which is a lot by local standards) but it is optional, which means that you can visit even if you don't have money. I think that's really important because it means locals can go as well.

Glad you like the music. It's a Sudanese-Swedish blues singer called Ebo Krdum. Stars with an instrumental piece called Dauba and the vocal track is called I'm Looking Ahead. I think there's a version of the first one on UA-cam and the second is on Apple Music and Spotify.
