    You got this! I love the optimism. Change is scary but it doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Things can happen for a reason. Hang in there. ❤ Becky

    All you need is the inflatable raft, some essential oils, and your new action figures!

    You guys will come out of this much stronger than before. Surviving the aftermath of Hurricane Florence was a tough test for us on the NC Coast. We learned the value of community & positivity. Good luck! ❤

    Wonderful video! As we are replacing the flooring in our entire home, we too are going thru our belongings and paring down. God is giving you this opportunity to make change, help you both to grow with each other, and possibly change the direction in your lives for new adventures and new life experiences. Our dogs can teach us how to live and love unconditionally. We are getting a new 3 year old dog in a few weeks.❤️

      That's great about your new dog!! Dogs are just the best and yes they teach us so many good lessons. Good luck with your home and we're so happy that you guys have the right mind set about it. Best of luck to you and have a wonderful day!

    Great video! You are right that change is scary but can be good. My husband left his company after 19 years 12/5 because they treated him wrong. He was like okay I will look on indeed. No joke he got a call on day 1 from a job he applied for for an interview. They are paying him 25K more a year and the job is easier. He can hardly believe it and is so thankful that the bad thing happened to him. Maybe you will have some really nice new neighbors at your next place.

      Thanks for watching Kelly! Love your comment - it's awesome to know how it worked out so much better for your husband when he took the chance to leave the bad job. Amazing how a bad thing can work out to be a good thing! So happy for you both!

    Mom and I are doing the same thing before we move to WNC, keep-donate-trash. We don't want to move things that should go now. Change is tough but you have each other and you are both so strong. Can your apartment complex let you move to an apartment that didn't suffer any damage? That way it's a different place, but not so different.

    • @KurtandSara
      @KurtandSara  Рік тому

      That's great, Colleen! Yeah, better to get rid of things slowly and steadily than have to move stuff you don't even want/need anymore! So far we're able to stay in the apartment, they'll be working on it this week, so hoping it's done by the beginning of Feb!

    Found your channel and subbed, watched about 15 of your Vlogs so far and wanted to tell you both, that you guys are living a dream I am currently working on too... right down to the fact I lived in New Jersey the first half of my life ( I lived near Medford, actually 20 minutes east of there in the Pine Barrens), and I've vacationed a couple weeks a year in the Asheville area for the last 20 years and my GF and I love the Hendersonville area. I'm currently living in Florida but I am planning to sell my house and move up there in 1 year. Really enjoying your videos, we've done about 75% of the places you've shown. Not sure if you know about it, but if you haven't, please check out Bullington Gardens in Hendersonville. We went there last year and loved it, and we think it would be a great place for one of your future vlogs. Hang in there, things will get better! Cheers guys!

      Hey, Daniel, sorry for the late reply. Thanks so much for subbing to the channel. We really appreciate it and are so glad you like our videos. We know Medford well and it's always nice to meet some fellow New Jerseyians, lol. Good luck with your move and again, thanks so much for watching. Take care.
