I must say this is an underrated movie of Amitabh Bachchan, this was not a hit, but Big B had a modernised version of the Angry Young Man that time. It was almost Hollywood like. The stupid and cheesy bit was the song Chal Chal Ri Chal where I felt there was an overacting in the hospital.
I think they wanted to make Keith Stevenson a big star like Amjad Khan, but it didn't work out. Maybe Paresh Rawal would've been good as he was still novel. Even Anupam Kher would've been good, but he's already been in a previous Ramesh Sippy movie Bhrastachar.
Just realised after 3 hours that this film is a comedy 😮
For 1991, it was a normal movie. Agree that there are some parts that probably is not suitable for 2024.
