Listen to Adi Aathadi by Ilaiyaraaja. He is the male lyricist in the song and it is a staple in almost all of his concerts. Or at least it was, these days it’s sung less, probably because of the difficulty of the song compared with his age.
Oh and I forgot to mention - The song is probably the highest you will hear any female singer go. It's like really high, so prepare your ears.
