The insane part about this is that the boxing section is literally just a one sided blowout because Dina comes out like she was in a Hurricane while Andrea came out... like a day at the office. The first round definitely had "I made a huge mistake" energy from Dina.
If you know Chess then you See that it was the exact other way around in Chess, Dina demolished Andrea there, after I think 5 or 6 Moves she had the clear advantage.
People saying the count needed to be finished, for the first 2 counts definitely, but the 3rd count should have been automatic stoppage as it's the deciding TKO even if there was literally just a second or 2 left on the clock. There are fights on UA-cam where the 3 knockdown rule is in effect and upon the 3rd, the fight is immediately called so given the precedents, I think Botez won. But it is what it is, they both did well and well done for stepping up.
I agree the third count shouldn’t need to be finished. However, if you watch the first SmashBoxing match, this same ref waits until his counts to 10 on the third count before calling the match… doesn’t make any sense to me.
This is being upvoted heavily but inaccurate. The traditional "3 knockdown rule" is pertaining to 3 knockdowns in a single round, with there commonly even being no limit to total number of knockdowns over the course of an entire match. It's easy to not know which way is up with regard to this event especially because there was a very casual approach to rule enforcement and the logistical procession of each match.
@@brookssvp It's not inaccurate at all because I stated clearly the aforementioned precedents happens in fights where the rule is in effect, implying that I understand it is not always in effect, but has been, those are the fights I'm referencing and on such occasions, it's as I said. gg though.

Yes, the ref called wrong but watch 25:47 a few times. He started the count exactly as the bell rang. If he had called the fight instead of starting the count, he would have called it exactly after the round ended. The rules equivalent of the bell ringing right before her knee hits the mat.
For those that don't know, they ended up changing their decision. They didn't rescind Dina's win, but they gave Andrea a belt and declared her a winner as well by TKO
When I saw Andrea verbally, mentally, and physically demolish Mizkif last year in a jousting fight in the G4 Summer Stream, I knew she had the killer instinct to take on Dina in the ring....and she didn't disappoint. I also knew Dina would play great in the chess rounds. Both Andrea and Dina were fantastic and both should be proud!
Genuinely wonder why Dina ever agreed to do this. I box for fun and it's incredibly dangerous when you're not prepared. She doesn't look as if she took it seriously.
Yes she does, physically, if she does not regularly go to the gym and started going once she signed up for this then that is about as toned as anyone could expect for someone in the amount of time she would have. Now her boxing form, or lack there-of, is another story.
This match was later reviewed again and a belt was awarded to Andrea Botez, but Dina Belankaya's win will not be reversed. Both competitors discussed the decision with Mogul Moves. All in all, great match.

Stats for the final boxing bout. There were 3 standing counts and 2 break ups. The standing counts were at 1:12 remaining, 30 remaining, and 7 remaining. The break ups were at 43 remaining and 13 remaining. A total of 37 of the 90 seconds were wasted due to stoppages. However, if you watch the first SmashBoxing match, this same ref waits until his counts to 10 on the third count before calling the match… doesn’t make any sense to me.

The traditional "3 knockdown rule" is pertaining to 3 knockdowns in a single round, with there commonly even being no limit to total number of knockdowns over the course of an entire match. Who the hell cares, it's a match for fun, stop being salty over a win that means literally nothing.
@@lllKXlll everything in the universe can be broken down to meaningless absurdity, this argument is a nothing burger
Dina almost got robbed here. She won. Andrea literally ran away for the entirety of round 3 and stalled down the clock because she was outclassed and would've lost. TKO right there if you ask me.
@@JimmyHey state the rule that says you can’t time stall,l in the chess portion, whereas there is a clear rule that 3 standing counts = tko. Rules were clearly shown
It was really nice of the ref to make absolutely sure that Dina knows how to count to 8. Man even gave her 4 examples on how to count using your hands in 1 round.
this was BY FAR my favorite match to watch, holy shit it was so tense
I though this was a boxing match but it turns out to be chess match than I thought it was a chess in boxing set and it took a turn to a boxing match, oh boy i was not ready for this twist😂
Same😂
I love how in all the press before this Dina was talking a big game on how she'd smash Andrea. But Andrea was all over her. She had so much control of the ring
Andrea was born for Chessboxing
Andrea Botez is the peoples champ 👑
@@carsongxd lmao you made 20 comments. Living in you head rent free huh?
How have I never heard of this or seen this
Andrea has earned my utmost respect, do not get into a fight with her, I didn't expect her to dominate the boxing like she did
Sexual energy rechanneled
Pretty sure everybody expected her to dominate the boxing my guy.
@@missionpupa no
@@haraldseineoma then youre a dummy lol
Andrea was a freaking beast she definitely won sucks that she got Robbed
that was actually the most wild match of the event. one had a clear edge in boxing and the other had a clear edge in chess and while i may not agree with how the ref called it, that was still the best card to watch
This needs a rematch. Great entertainment 👍
I’ve never seen someone get robbed so bad in a really long time
Great match, very entertaining, Andrea definitely had the edge in boxing skill and fitness but Dina's chess skill was just too good, she annihilated that London opening.
Man I feel so bad for both ladies here. They gave it their all and were both spectacular. Both of them trying to wait out the clock was fantastic strategy when they were cornered respectively. I don't even care about who won, but the ref CLEARLY miscounted those counts and kind of force-cheated Dina through when the match should have played out differently. Hell, I can't tell if he was too quick to call or too slow, because I feel like he counted several times just out of pity or even underestimating Dina's abilities when she wasn't actually that messed up.
I do think Botez would have won had the counts been, well, actually counted, but I also think Dina still would have had a slim chance of pulling through without that man stepping in and trying to... idk calm down the situation??? without counting his own stoppages????
Hope these two can fight again and that both feel like winners because oh man they killed it, it's entirely on the ref for basically forcing a cheat and underestimating the women in the ring.
Oh and I feel terrible that Dina was booed. Ik it was for the ref, not her, but even if her winning was founded on a mistake from the ref, she still killed it and could have won on her own, and I think it's awful she had to have her winning sullied by everyone around her. Poor girl was clearly trying to do damage control in her acceptance speech when she did nothing wrong and the ref should have taken the responsibility.
Dina wasn’t intentionally running the clock the ref had money on her
Didn’t think a boxing match could be so adorable lol
24:28, 25:17 and 25:46; Andrea should have won, and she played that out so well. No fault to either competitor, but the Ref should’ve called the match instead of starting the last count
How was this not a tko by botez in the 3rd round? Dina got counted twice earlier in the same round and another count started right before time ran out, shouldn't that be an automatic tko?
saved by the bell i guess, shit referee-ing either way-- it's obvious dina didn't belong in the boxing ring but she tore it up on the chess board
How was this not a tko by Dina in the 3rd round? Botez was completely outclassed and about to be checkmated but she ran down the clock on purpose like in a game of hide and seek.
Chess is good but the fight is like watching toddlers
He definitely started counting for the third time before the bell in the last round, so Andrea won in my eyes.
