I'm really torn. I like this mod a lot. It's well made and doesn't even contradict the lore of the game much at all... but I just love the part where he flees in panic when the female mage starts to flirt with him. It's basically my favorite part of being a mage.
Getting yelled at and insulted by Cullen is way more painful with the romance mod.
lol, trust zevran to make light of serious situations, however short, his intervention was hilarious.

I've wanted to romance this ramen-headed pug dog for three effing games, even in his awkward DA:O phase.
That being said, judging by his similarity to Alistair in look and backstory combined with Cullen's prevalence in the games, something tells me he was a second option model for Alistair and they just couldn't let the design go. I'm perfectly ok with that... I wish this stuff had been left in, because us console plebs can't. Get. It. And without it I have no desire to mage it out in DA:O.

In here maybe.. once you get used to Cullen's voice in Inquisition, you can tell the difference between them upon meeting Alistair.
Abigale Tate they're both from Fereldan. Also, Cullen sounds a bit more serious than Alistair. Alistair is more like a brother voice for me!
I also think the kinda look alike (Cullen in DAI looks really similiar)

Awww! I kind of feel bad for Cullen. He cared and loved her and couldn't have her because she was a mage and he a templar...it's so sad. At least that's how I see it. I wish he could be a romance option in general.

I seriously wish that first part was cannon, but I hate the fact that his hatred becomes so deep that it takes him until DAI to even come close to trusting mages again without being forced into it.

+Leonardo da Vinci I played the mage origin and the broken circle this weekend, and the only thing that differs this mod from the actual game is that Cullen runs away in the origin when invited to talk privately. Otherwise it is the same, with the temptation and such. I did not get the "sin"-part of the conversation, but that could be because of my choices rather than the game.
Every time I hear “this trick again” I hear “this chick again” and it just makes a serious moment hilarious
I still ship Cullen more with the Hero of Ferelden than with the Inquisitor.

I like how he changes his tune in DA2 about the mages (if you side with the templars) by trying to spare them like you do in Origins, and actually admires what the Mage Warden did.
Wait, if you had Morrigan, Alistair and, if I'm not mistaken, the Mabari hound in your party, where did Zevran come from to deliver his wonderful one-liner?
I know this is necro WildFireWoo however there is a mod that makes the Mabari take up a summon slot so you can have a full party Plus the hound.

I'm really hoping that Cullen is a romanceable character in DA:I seeing as he is coming back. It'd be a shame if they left his character just with what they did to him in DA:O

@DarkAnsem88 I've had varying reactions from Cullen. It seems to depend on what your reactions to him are and how soothing your choices as to if he's still raving about killing the mages at the conclusion of the Broken Circle. I have one save where he tells my Mage that he wishes he could have gone with the mages that irving sent out to help her then adds "to fight". It's not a Mod, just a result of choices.
Will be the FIRST one I romance in DA:3. I wanted to romance him in Origins and DA:2 now I finally get the chance
@Midnight0Mistress No, I didn't see any. I even went back and found Cullen in the library to talk to him...but he still says the same thing he always does. So those are the only changes with Cullen. There is a restored scene with Jowan in Arl Eamon's dungeon, though...if you ratted him out to Irving, though.

Indeed he is not. Infact, in DA2, if you side with the mages at the end of the game, Cullen will defend you.
Thier is lots of hot guys in DA... Now I'm kind of regretting that I play as a male warden.... Oh well after I finished DAO I gonna play as a female char in Awakening and romance some hot guys.
There aren't any romance options in Awakening.

If dragon age 2 is anything to go by, it seems he did cool down a bit after some time had passed, and regretted the things he said. i don't sure if that only happens if you were a female mage in origins, tough.
Of course the mod is no longer available after my computer was wiped.
You'll have to forgive my utterly NOOB question but if I were to get DA:O for the comp and learned a few tricks, could I make such wonderfulness as this or do you have to have special modding skills/equipment? So sorry to bother you...but I do LOVE this...I guess Cullen might actually have benefited from the makeovers given in DA2. lol.

I use this with a gay mod. The only diff I notice is the tiny bit at 2:00... never saw Cullen when I was leaving with Duncan.

no it is a mod that changes Alistairs hair - Alistair and Cailen look alike only where Alistair is taned and has red/blond hair cailen is pale and blond

And it really is a nice mod. Even for me, as a male human commoner :-)
It puts the further adventuring of the character into perspective and adds emotional weight to it. The mage origin is pretty generic in itself, with the biggest drama being not your character, but Lily and Jowan's romance, and secondarily Jowan's blood magic. Compared to, for example, the city elf origin and both dwarven origins pretty tame and not really the same emotional weight, but the Cullen romance really changes that.
