I don’t understand why both my 15promax and my new iPad Pro 2024 with the M4 processor both say apple intelligence not available in your country and I live in Canada so it’s annoying as the M4 is perfect for this
@@4nghg probably because the non-pro models have less ram. There’s a lot of speculation on why one model or another doesn’t get the features.. but the most probable one seems to be memory. The M series chips have a minimum of eight gigs of memory and so does the 15 pro & 15 pro max.
@@custompro4156 that’s also true, it’s using the chip from the 14 Pro.. That being said they’re all pretty powerful chips. Doesn’t make a ton of sense anyway.
Same here iphone 14 pro and cannot have apple intelligence installed,, like i paid a lot of money for this phone and i know the pro max is even more money
Mick, the 14 pro doesn’t have a good enough chip to handle the on device processing required for Apple intelligence. Idk What’s not believable about that 🤷♂️
@@kenobi52it is not about the performance of the chip, it is about the RAM, iPhone 14 series only have 6GB RAM, and Apple Intelligence requires at least 8GB RAM
Pardon my stupidity, but I’m so bummed my 14 Pro Max can’t handle Apple Intelligence but my “older” M1 MacBook Pro can. I understand the RAM dilemma but man, no Apple magic to expand its usability? They’ve historically done well at adding advanced features to older devices/phones. The first really cool, innovative thing Apples done with their phones in a minute and the cut off is 80-90% of iPhone users (just a guess). Looks like the iPhone 16 Pro is calling my name. You win again Tim 🫠
Scrubbed through just to see how well this beta handles battery life. 45 to 38 very quick, not yet a daily driver I assume?
My favourite two features are AI message/email summaries and the new focus mode. I’ve already seen huge changes in just a work week.
