I just noticed the background being different and your parents condo threw me off, I thought they were staying at a hotel. Just thought I ask because I can't recall if you mentioned anything. it makes me so emotional to see how well you’re raising Xyla, so happy for her, she’s so lucky :))
but when she experiences negative emotions and events, how do you deal with it?
thanks Elisao! and great question... hoping we can show that in a future vlog! usually we'll get down on her level, ask her to describe how she's feeling, and make her feel safe to feel whatever she needs or wants to feel. After a few quiet minutes, she's normally able to move forward on her own... but every time is different and unpredictable!
