- Actress Nicola Coughlan told Anthony Mason about her acting journey, landing popular roles in "Derry Girls" and "Bridgerton," connecting with audiences and more in a sitdown interview at Lady Mendl's Tea Salon in New York City. "I think it doesn't really matter what you make - you want people to feel something," said Coughlan, adding that it's a "beautiful thing" to take people to another world.

She’s very youthful-looking but age is a very important factor for maturity. I don’t think a younger actress with her body type would be as comfortable in her skin as Nicola is! I absolutely adore her!!

Lovely informative - thanks Anthony, Nicola. Derry Girls really historic - but I wish wish even though great cast they had found a cast that were closer in age to the girls not decade(s) older.
the cast did a perfect job in portraying teenagers. their real ages were never an issue
