Hey man thanks for the info. I’ve been looking for a solid hitch like this for a while, but couldn’t justify some of them that are ridiculous prices. My uncle just recently showed me his and I loved it. Loved it even more when I saw that it had a setup for pintle. That’ll be on my truck soon.
I love mine, I need to make a video of weight distribution shank I have for it. Like how it's all integrated. Gen-y makes some heavy duty hitches that's for sure. Thanks for watching and hope you like yours as much as I do mine

This video helped a lot I was wondering how low the four slot one set on a stock truck because I didn’t want to get one and worry about how low it rode on the ground so after your awesome video I was really liking the four slot but I think I’m gonna be better off with the three slot because I seen your dragging issues and all that thanks again
Glad it helped, I do like it when I'm pulling a tall pintle hitch trailer but other than that id rather have the 3 under 1 over. It would work better for me.
Hey it is a nice HD hitch. I understand what you mean. I just purchased 6.4 Hemi 2500 and looking at the one with 3 down one up. With pintle . Get the looking pins
I bought the same one. Wanted the 1 up 3 down but went cheap. It does drag on badly graded driveway aprons.
I probably should've got that one too. I've got used to it now and it's actually came in handy being able to flip it over and get a high hitch
@C Farmer ya my cheap ass it was worth the extra money..
But really should have just said the heck with it and gotten the BOSS and just kept smoothly rolling down the road.

And if I turn it over it brings it way up but it doesn't hit tailgate. I was worried about that. Has maby an inch of clearance. I had a pintle only that hit tailgate when it was down. That was aggravating

It's usually used on bigger trucks like dump trucks and utility trucks. I found a pretty good video here on UA-cam

I do and it works good flipped too.
Any luck on a good locking pin yet? I've never had one that didn't rust shut after a couple years and I'd really like to find a good one
I bought the ones I've got at dans and they're ok but they're showing signs of wear but they unlock good.i do keep them in tool box when I'm not using them so it's probably not a good comparison. If i left them on all the time they'd be shot by now

@C Farmer man I feel dumb lol. I always leave them on so I guess that there explains my problem. For some reason I just never thought to take it off. It's like I always see that receiver as just a part of the truck or something
It's not dumb. I got rear-ended twice and the hitch saved me both times but finding one that lasts with the elements. I also soak mine with wd-40 or seafoam anytime i think of it...i think that has helped the life of mine too.
The bolt lock brand pins hold up real well for me
Which is the one with 3 down 1 up?
Where mine has 4 positions down the other has 1 positron over the Shank and 3 under. I wished i would've put a pic in the video but i didn't think about it at the time
