I don't watch the show but one day while I was walking past the living room, this part came on, and I had to sit and listen to it. Have heard other songs from the show that are good, but to me, this one will always be the highlight of that show. That girl has the voice and talent to sing. How was she holding back? She put her all into the performance and even said "I remember when I did And I’m Telling You... on Glee. It’s such a huge song that after I recorded it - several times - at the very last note my legs gave out. You use your entire body," I love Amber Riley but you need to understand she's human too and can only push herself so far I fact pushing herself too far ended up making her need vocal surgery to get rid of nodules growing on her vocal cords caused by singing way too often and pushing your voice too much
But I still also think she's amazing none the less
